As her eyes adjusted to the light, she found herself standing in front of a group of fierce men seated on a long table, all with grim expressions on their faces.
"Healer Danice? Is there a problem? We await your report." One of the gigantic men, the one who sat at the very end of the long table, asked soberly. His fingers were folded in front of him and he wore a stylish three-piece grey suit. Behind his seat, a grey, regal and sophisticated tail hovered.
Alex only recognized the man beside him, the noble Zintus whose wife she had 'diagnosed'. All of them appeared to be high-ranking members of the Zintus nobility, though. She even suspected the man at the head of the table was the king or someone close.
'I wonder how important this healer Danice is that they all agreed to come here.'
Raising her head to analyse the expressions of those present—which was slightly harder because of their strange eyes—Alex reported.
