πππ 3 Days Later πππ
πKael's POVπ
I felt something cold and relaxing brushing all over my skin, particularly my face. My eyelids slowly parted, and my eyes met a large bosom hovering over me. The singlet barely covered the large green breast, making me wonder if I was in heaven.
"Great Master Eleven," I heard a tiny voice, and my eyes darted from the large bosom to her face. It was a young lady with green skin, flashing her white teeth at me. "Good morning," she said again, and memories flooded into my brain. I realized I was in Liam's village but wondered when this village had harbored such a beautiful lady.
The curtain opened, and a presence filled the room. "Lyran, why are you disturbing Great Master Eleven?" I heard a grumpy voice that startled me, forcing me to sit up and turn instantly.
They both bowed before me, and I was shocked to my core. This was the Goblin that attacked me days ago. He now looked more muscular and bigger.
"Great Master Eleven, we are happy that you're awake," they said together as I got to my feet. I ignored both of them and stepped out of the tent I had been carried into. Everything was different.
The once hungry-looking Goblins now appeared healthy. The ladies were more robust, the Direwolves bigger, and even the Trollocs had nearly adapted to a human form, apart from their two sets of teeth that extended below their noses.
"Great Master Eleven is awake! Great Master Eleven is awake!"
"Great Master Eleven, come with me!"
"Great Master Eleven, how do I look?"
They kept dragging me left and right, my confused self not knowing what to do.
"Alexa, what's happening?" I asked, trying to free myself from their grip.
[Names boost the magicules of monsters. It makes them level up.]
No wonder they were so happy when I named them three days ago. Since the Trollocs volunteered to join the village, I told Liam to name his subjects, but he said he couldn't think of names apart from those of Japanese origin. I believe he must be a local Japanese man.
I took on the job of naming the villagers myself, but when I was naming the Direwolves, I got exhausted and slept off.
A shadow hovered above me, and I turned to see Stonetrum. That's the name I gave the Trolloc, and he likes it. He's the new leader of the Trollocs in Liam's village.
Despite his gruff look, the others weren't afraid of him. I think they've gotten along.
"Great Master Eleven," he said, going down on one knee. "Great Liam told me to invite you to the meeting room." I nodded, and he led the way while I followed suit.
We entered the meeting room where Liam sat comfortably. Mitsuri was beside him, along with a horned lady. The Goblin leader was also present with a Dwarf and an Elf. I recalled naming all these people but had forgotten their names.
"Welcome, Master Eleven. Take a seat," Mitsuri gestured, and I took a seat beside Liam while Stonetrum stood by the table. I didn't think any chair could withstand his weight.
"It's good to see you're back, Eleven," Liam playfully hit me with his paw, and I chuckled.
"I never knew giving names to your subjects could be so stressful," I replied, rubbing my chin.
"So, Master Eleven, before your arrival, we were discussing the growth of our village," Mitsuri stated, and I noticed the drawing on the table.
It was an architectural plan I had seen before. The landscape was Japanese.
"Tokyo," we both said in unison, Liam and I to be precise.
"I can't believe you remember."
"I've seen this a couple of times. It's installed in some kind of device I can't recall."
"But you don't look Japanese. Though I've heard rumors about Black Samurais, you look African."
"Africa? What's that?"
"It's a..."
Bang!
Mitsuri hit his fist on the table loudly, and a cold silence ensued. We realized we were in the middle of a meeting.
"I'm sorry, Great Liam, Master Eleven..."
"So, what's the plan?" I cut him off, ignoring his apology.
"I really appreciate your help, Eleven. The names you gave them not only changed their looks but also boosted their intelligence," Liam began, and I listened keenly.
"I want to expand this village. I want us to be recognized among the other kingdoms in the world. But first, we need shelter, food, and clothing."
"Great Liam, we Dwarves are very good in arts. We can help bring this design to life," said one of the Dwarves.
"Great Liam, I'm a blacksmith. I can help refine the swords," another Dwarf stated.
"We have talented and skilled artistry. The Elves are well-experienced and will help in designing the clothes. The structure and design of the village will be for the Goblins and Dwarves. We need the Trollocs' strength for building and constructing roads. Then the Direwolves can provide us with food. It's a division of labor," Mitsuri explained.
Everyone seemed to agree with his idea. They discussed how to expand their territory. I wanted to chime in, but Liam's voice cut me off.
"How about the resources? How do we get the resources?" Liam asked, and silence fell among everyone. The main point of their discussion was the resources.
Without resources, the sketch, the division of labor, and everything they had been working on would be a total waste.
"I can get you resources," I said, and everyone turned to me.
"How are you going to do that when you are leaving before nightfall?" asked the horned lady.
Honestly, it's not good that I've forgotten their names. I just don't know what's wrong with my head.
"I'll write a letter. Mitsuri, you'll take it to the Elvarin Kingdom. A man there will do all your bidding once he gets my signature," I said affirmatively, and they all stared at me in shock.
"Oh, our Great Master Eleven is a prominent man," one of the Dwarves cried out.
"He's very influential," another cried out.
"I wish to be like you, Great Master Eleven."
"I'll live to serve you, Great Master Eleven."
And so they ended the meeting, showering me with praises.
Hours later, I was set to go. To continue my journey. The journey of discovering my true self. The journey to the west. I was dressed in a white attire. Liam told me it was a Chinese attire, but I don't know what it is. I think Africa must be really local or probably a forest.
I was given a pouch where I sheathed my sword. The sword was specially designed for me and no one else. Ronin, the Dwarf who designed the sword, told me it took him three good years.
I was standing on a cliff, and Liam was beside me as our gazes were fixed on his nation. I wondered what his nation would be like in a few years.
Isn't years too far?
"How did you feel when they praised me in your presence?" I asked as the wind blew my white garment.
"You deserve every single praise. You deserve my worship. Without you, I wouldn't have achieved all of this," he replied, and I exhaled loudly.
"Is that why you want to leave?"
"No, no. Honestly, I would have loved to stay and see us build this village together, but I have to proceed with my journey. The word of Etherion keeps creeping into my soul," I replied.
"You met with Etherion? That old bastard dragon," he said amusingly, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"But come to think of it, can't you take a humanoid form?" I suddenly asked. I didn't know why I asked such a question; it just occurred to me.
"I've never tried it before, but I think I can. I have to improve more in my training," he added, and I nodded.
"Do you think we can ever go back to our world?" he asked, and I sighed.
"I was given a ticket to our world. I refused because I have something to do first. So I think there's a chance we can go back to our world or rather cross worlds," I replied.
"But what does it mean when someone exists in two worlds?"
"You exist in two worlds?" he returned with a question, and I nodded.
"According to the Guardian of Souls, I'm on Earth and in Aetheria," I answered his question, and he shook his head.
"I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I worked as a cleaner in a hospital in Japan. There's a life-supporting machine that keeps one alive until he returns to Earth. His subconsciousness travels to another world. The world is known as Coma."
"Coma," I muttered. "So this is my Coma. And without the life-supporting machine?"
"One will fade away from this world and still die on Earth," he replied, and my eyes widened.
"That means I can die at any time." His forelimb patted my shoulder.
"That isn't always the case. I think yours is different."
"It isn't different. I was involved in an accident. I could hear people screaming, see visions of blood on my head, and then the ocean."
"Don't dwell on it too much. When the time comes, you'll surely find out," he patted and I smiled.
"Sure. So let's talk about your nation. What name do you have in mind for your nation?"
"I was thinking of giving it the name... Hmm... Eleam Nation or Liven Nation," he replied, smiling brightly.
"That's the combination of both our names."
"Isn't that malevolent?" he asked, chuckling, and I shook my head. "You suck at giving names, Liam."
"Hmm, let me think... What's this place called?"
"The Great Forest of Aethralis."
"Aethralis indeed... Great Aethralis Nation... Aethralis Kingdom... Ralis Dynasty..." We both turned to each other, our gazes locking as if we were reading each other's minds.
"Ralix Empire," we both called out at once with an affirmative tone.
"This is the dawn of the Ralix Empire. The beginning of the nation of monsters," Liam declared while I rubbed my chin.
"I'm off, Pal. We will meet again. We will surely meet again," I said to him and attempted to use Shadow Movement, but it wasn't working.
"Sure, Eleven. I'll live up to your expectations."
"Alexa, what's happening? Why is Shadow Movement not working?" I asked, running into the woods. It was already late, and I didn't want Liam to engage me in another conversation.
[Notice. The Shadow Movement Skill Cannot Be Found]
"Aargh, why?" I asked, but the system remained silent. I'd soon get tired if I continued sprinting, so I resorted to walking.
It didn't take long before I noticed a presence behind me. I turned, but no one was there. I was sure no one left the Ralix Empire apart from Liam, and he couldn't be the one following meβLiam didn't release this kind of aura.
I hadn't walked up to a meter when I felt the presence again, this time more chaotic than the first.
"Whoever it is, come out or I'll burn you down with my flames," I threatened, dark flames enveloping my hand. I was standing directly against the sun, and my shadow loomed in front of me.
Right before my eyes, a being emerged out of my shadow, releasing murderous essence. The being had thick red skin and was on its knees. Its claws dug into the ground, and even on its knees, it was still taller than me, causing me to shift back in fear.
"I apologize for putting you in a state of panic, my Lord."
My Lord? I bet I didn't hear that right.
