Kay promptly ordered five of her soldiers to return to the campsite in order to gather more people and take back all the carapaces. Finding the origin of the bugs would be simple for Kay, Lau, and the other soldiers because the closer they got to the nest, the more bugs they found.
The troops were becoming exhausted from the constant fighting in the muddy jungle, and the bugs showed no signs of slowing down. Kay and Lau were making every effort to eliminate as many of the bugs as they could, but their numbers were just on a different level.
"Soldiers, listen up! prepare to fall back!These damn bugs keep coming from everywhere. We are at a great disadvantage. We should retread for now and come back with the full army."
