The girls noticed that Kay was walking slowly and quietly towards the place where they usually shower. The girls quickly noticed that she was feeling down about something, but they decided to wait for her to share what was on her mind.
Once they arrived at the river, they saw two girls who greeted them with a polite bow.
"Good evening, matriarch. We are here to guard you and your companions during your bathing time so no one disturbs you."
"Thanks; I appreciate it."
The girls assisted Ay and Lau in taking off their clothes. Kay didn't need any help with it since she could easily revert her black armor back into a gem on her chest with just a thought. Once they were ready, they all made their way to the river. Lau then gave one of the girls a sunflower to use for their shower.
While Ay was washing Kay's hair, she thought it was a good time to discuss the Kobold incident.
