IN THE HOTEL ROOM
(they sit quietly on opposite ends of the bed)
Soo joong: (breaking the silent) how did..
Valentina: (cuts in) sir, I didn't mean for that picture to pop up, I forgot to change my wallpaper.
Soo joong: secretary.
Valentina: but the stupid laptop started to malfunction, I was freaking out!
Soo joong: secretary..
Valentina: what would they think of me, what would they think of you?
Soo joong: secretary..
Valentina: Ahh! what would they think of the company?!
Soo joong: VALENTINA!
Valentina: sir, wait, you know my name?
Soo joong: yes, why won't I, I've called you many times by your name.
Valentina: huh, I didn't notice.
Soo joong: now that you've stop blabbing, I wanted to ask how you created that game when I gave you the project few days ago
Valentina: well, I have been working on that project even before I came to Korea.
Soo joong: as long as it got us the partnership (he stood up and walked to the bathroom door) and one more thing, change your wallpaper, it's ugly (he steps into the bathroom and close the door)
Valentina: what! did he just say my picture is ugly, I look so hot in it, i'm sure i'm hotter than his girlfriend or that flat blonde I saw that day
Soo joong: (opens the door and pops his head out) you know I can hear you right?! (she quickly stood up and ran out of the room).....
THAT EVENING, AT THE PARTY
(Valentina steps in looking so beautiful in her elegant red dress, Soo joong looked stunned for a moment but in a blink of an eye, the expression was gone, she walks toward Soo joong but Fred came and took her away)
Fred: wow, you look stunning.
Valentina: thanks.
Fred: but you'll look hotter in bikinis.
Valentina: stop teasing me.
Fred: by the way,. Fred
Valentina: nice to meet you, i'm Valentina
Fred: woah, the queen of Valentine herself (they giggle) wanna have a drink?
Valentina: sure (they walk to the bar)
Fred: sure you won't get drunk?
Valentina: I don't get drunk easily, as long as the drinks on you
Fred: (chuckles, to the bar attendance) two bottle of wine, (to val) why aren't you with ur boyfriend or husband Tonight (he drinks his wine 🍷)
Valentina: I don't have a boyfriend neither am I married (took the whole bottle to her mouth)
Fred: then what about the guy you are with
Valentina: that's my boss.
Fred: you are sharing a room with your boss?!
Valentina: not like i want to, oh, look at that I finished my drink, can I have another?
Fred: wow, you drink alot
Valentina: 3 bottles are my limit.
(they kept chatting and she kept drinking till she got drunk)
Valentina: (in a drunken state) I can't believe I drank almost seven bottles, you could have stop me, I told you my limit was 3 or was it 4, anyways.
Fred: you are really drunk (lifts her up) come on let's go (meets Soo joong)
Soo joong: what's wrong with her?
Fred: she got drunk, I tried stopping her but she said she was drinking her sorrow away
Soo joong: I'll take care of her (he carried her)
Fred: be careful, she's a little bit heavy.
Soo joong: you call this a little bit?
Valentina: oh hey, it's my grumpy boss (she squint her eyes and held his nose) am I dreaming or has your nose become longer (she wraps her hand around his neck)
Valentina: bye Freddy, thanks for the drinks, hope to see you again so we could drink together (she waves wildly as they left)
Fred: bye, also hope to see you again
AT THE HOTEL ROOM
Soo joong: (throws her on the bed) too heavy.
Valentina: hey, drop me gently.
Soo joong: why did yiu have to drink so much
Valentina: (stands and walks up to him, poking him in the chest) why did you have to drink so much.
Soo joong: I didn't
Valentina: oh yeah, you didn't, why didn't you?
Soo joong: look at the state yiu are in, you are so stubborn
Valentina: i'm in a normal state (she staggered and he held her) can someone hold this floor down so I can stand properly, i'm sure this is Valentine's doing, he doesn't know his senior, Amma teach him a lesson
Soo joong: (looking up) what have I gotten myself into, I should have left her to Fred, that stupid guy, I always meet him every where and he's always causing trouble (sighs and close his eyes)
Valentina: wow, what a jaw line (she was about to kiss his jaw then he looked down and she ended up kissing him, she looked at him and she saw Johnny, she kissed him again) Johnny, where have been, i was expecting you to look for me, why did you have to cheat on me, why?(she hit his chest)
Soo joong: val...(he looks at her and found out she was crying)
Valentina: you could have. waited for me, we were meant to get engaged, i'm not really angry that I met you sleeping with that slut, I was angry because our engagement was just few days away, you could have waited, what about all the promises you made, huh, what about what we've been through, I hate you, I hate you, I hate....you
(she fell unconscious and kept murmuring I hate you, Soo joong place her on the bed and say beside her, his phone rings)
Fred: is she alright?
Soo joong: yeah, she's asleep (he cuts the call and he felt.... BUTTERFLIES in his stomach as he thought of the kiss..)....
