I let out as much energy as I could at once and I bet the dragon lord did the same. However, I had a feeling this wasn't going to end up in my favor, I could already tell my energy was shaving away, meanwhile, a dragon lord would always have flames to let out, I presumed.

I stopped my blast and dove down and away from the flames. The flames went after me once again. This time, I took the precaution of having over me, I doubted greatly it could fend off the attack, but it would give me enough time to move away from the blast were I hit.

I teleported, appearing meters overhead the dragon lord. I wanted to zoom down and drive a blade through its head, but before I could do so, the dragon lord turned my way and sent up flames, my plan going to naught.
