A lightbulb lit in my head, and I got excited. I remembered that I had gotten the energy manipulation skill since defeating Suphas, yet I had not gotten the opportunity to utilize the skill. But now, my prey was presented to me on a silver platter and I was going to relish in their destruction.
"Energy Manipulation." I called out, and a yellow burst of aura burst forth from my body, encapsulating my entire being. How I felt was such a contrast to how I expected I would feel.
My body felt incredibly light, so much so that I had to check if I wasn't in some sort of a psychedelic trance. I wasn't. The overflowing energy poured through my nerves. My mind and my pupils dilated from the relief and pleasure I felt. It was like nothing mattered, and that I had reached a place of true power. It was euphoric.
