It was all gone. Everyone he knew was dead yet again. His first and now his second. He couldn't even protect both, not in his first life and not even his 2nd life. He just lied there on the ground surrounded by the corpses of his enemies and the innocents that have already fallen before him. He gripped his broadsword tightly and began to cry. 

"Haha...even with the system I can't even do sh*t...even with all this power...oh how much I want to just..." The boy continued to cry, screaming at the air demanding why must he fail. He continued on and on...

"I should have done more...I should have used the skills I had and trained them better, I should have used my abilities to tank all the blows...I should have..." The boy was finally done crying...and started blaming himself...until he had an idea.

"System...how much those it cost to erase all my memories? How much those it cost to erase every memory of just pain and suffering?"

[Ray, you are not thinking straight. Please calm down]

"NO! I've had enough of your f*cking bullsh*t. Just give me the answer I f*cking want please..."

His system paused for a while. Until finally giving it's answer.

[To erase your memories and everything else if you choose are for free...all that requires from you is your signature]

The boy laid on the floor thinking, he sighed to himself before asking another question.

 "Will you still be there?"

[As your system, I'm contracted and personally obligated to stay by your side, regardless of what happens to you]

"I see..." The boy stared at his system. He smiled to himself before deciding that maybe this new version of himself would do better then he could ever do. 

"I, Ray Hermstones agree to the terms or whatever crap you do to erase all my memories, traits, skills, levels, perks...everything. All I ask is that you stay by this new me's side. Lord knows this new me-no. This new person is going to need your help...at the same time, I'd like to know if it's possible to reset this timeline or campaign?"

[Yes, You can reset for free if your basically going to erase yourself]

"Good, Then do it"

[Are you sure?]

"Of course I am...the only reason why this all failed is clearly because I thought I could change something if I knew all the events...clearly not. I fumbled the bag and got bit in the end. Maybe if I didn't have that knowledge and maybe if I simply reset to it's beginning. Something will change"

[...]

As the boy laid on the ground, a bright light began to appear. 

{Close your eye's Ray. This will be over soon}

Ray nodded and closed his eyes. He gave up trying, He gave up trying to be a hero in a world where he couldn't be one. Maybe this new person can do better?

He could only hope as the light flashed and before you all know it. It's gone and done with.
