As he exited the room through the hole, he found himself near a powerful river and for the first time since he entered the whispering woods the only sound, he could hear was the rushing water and the flapping of wings like that of an eagle a few moments later he sees a woman who seems to be clothed in the night sky with golden wings on her back the lady then says hello Alexander why are you back here you shouldn't be here it's not yet time to go Alexander says I don't know why I'm back here Nyx then Nyx says you were sent away for a reason you shouldn't be here you're not one of us anymore you need to return to the mortal world I don't want to see you hurt again Alexander then says but I'm back to see you I... it's hard to not be by your side anymore but it's fine I can leave since you want it after all Nyx then says wait that's not how I meant it Alexander then he says no I understand you don't want to even see me anymore despite everything then Alexander plunges into the river at the edge of time and later wakes up but he is not truly awake it's as if his mind is going through each and every memory, he opens his eyes and he can't see he asks who's there a gentle voice says it's rare for one of my decedents to end up here Alexander then says where exactly is here and who are you the voice responds i am ------- (the name was prevented from being said by some outside force) and we are in limbo meaning your technically dead but your still alive for now anyways
Alexander's heart raced as he processed the weight of the voice's revelation. Limbo a place suspended between life and death, where the echoes of his past danced like shadows in the corners of his mind. "What do you mean I'm technically dead?" he asked, his voice trembling with confusion and fear. The gentle voice, imbued with an otherworldly calm, continued, "You have crossed a threshold, Alexander. Your plunge into the river was not merely an act of despair; it was a choice that severed your ties to the mortal realm. But fear not, for this is not the end. You have the power to navigate through your memories, to confront the choices that led you here." As the words settled in, Alexander felt a flicker of hope amidst the uncertainty. "But how do I return? How do I find Nyx again?" he implored, desperation creeping into his tone. The voice paused, as if weighing the gravity of his question, before responding, "To find her, you must first understand yourself. Each memory holds a key, a lesson that will guide you back to the light. Embrace them, and perhaps you will discover the path that leads you home." With that, the darkness around him began to shimmer, revealing fragments of his past, each one a steppingstone on the journey he had to undertake.
