Chapter 1 - The curse

There was a man near a lake unknowing of the dangers that linger near him, unknowing about the curse of Zion that lay in the lake that connects to three rivers each holding a price ...the first river has unknown consequences of monsters that lay in the water the second that has the ability to heal but at a price of losing another life for the healing properties of the water...the third having many treasures and jewels, but also having the sirens that kill the people that seek the treasure luring their prey to the depths of the water and never having any one leave...

?: is that all you need to know about the curse or would you rather find somewhere else to adventure?

??: no that will be all...

???: can we leave this hoble now Jackson?

The tall man in the red clothes nods slightly before looking at the smaller male as the old village kook smiles 'innocently' before pushing them off the door steps and slams the door behind them.

???: OI, watch it you old hag!

Jackson: be quiet mac...we don't even know the lady...

Mac: so!?, she literally pushed us down a four foot set of stairs and your bleeding!!!

Jackson could only sigh while getting up from the ground while now stretching a bit from being pushed down the stairs.

Jackson: just be quiet, it's a field trip it's not like that urban legend is true...

Mac: and how do you know that!? Huh!?!?

Jackson : there's a reason why it's called a legend dumbass...

Mac pouts slightly while looking at him and then getting up from the ground as well and then sighs slightly.

Mac: true but that doesn't mean we can't visit the lake this weekend~

Jackson: we aren't going to that jerk's party at the lake...

Mac: Awww, but why not!?

Jackson: because your my step brother and I was told to watch you dumbass!

Mac was clearly upset by the fact Jackson is supposed to watching him and then smirks slightly before pulling him a bit closer but the waist as if attempting to be flirty.
