Chapter 1 - 1 , My life

I'm Kang yn , I belong to a middle class family of four . I was quite popular in college for my voice, but due to less money I had to leave studies and work , I was working at the moon karaoke bar as a singer , when this happened....

Friday 02:30 am ,

It was late at night when I returned home,I had to work late today because one of my bar employee was absent, so I ended ered the house and went to the kitchen to get myself a glass of water but as I entered the kitchen I saw my brother Kang soobin, sitting on the table with his head tilted down. I got curious and asked him if any thing was wrong

" Oppa? Is something wrong?"

" What do you think?" He said in a husky voice

I got confused by the way he asked me that question

" What Do you mean ?"

" You'll know soon"

He stood up and took me towards my room and said goodnight and left

Morning 07:39 am

I woke up and went to the bathroom, when I was brushing my teeth I remembered what happened yesterday night . I remembered soobin's strange behavior. Anyways I got out and wore my dress for the day . I was ready for another tiring day at college and karaoke. Actually I work part time as a karaoke singer because my parents don't have enough money to pay my fees so I work part time.

I got ready and went downstairs, I shouted good morning to my parents as I reached the dining table I saw a fear , a strange and questionable look on my parents faces while my brother lips were curled into a mischievous grin . I got confused and asked eomma and appa what was wrong . As I asked this question their behaviour changed and they started to act normal again . What was going on ? . Mom smiled at me and dad got up and made me sit on the chair .

" You must be hungry, jagiya " he said while spreading jam on some bread and pouring juice in a glass

"Yeah you need to be ready for everything, sweetheart" mom said .

Something was strange my mom looked like she was gonna cry . I said nothing and ate breakfast, I checked the time and rushed towards the door and put on my shoes . After that I looked back once and saw mom , her eyes were welled up with tears . I smiled at her and she said

" Don't smile at me like that sweety , it will make it difficult for me to let you go " after that she ran towards me and held me close to her chest , she was hugging me , this hug of hers was filled with despair and unwillingness. Dad released me from her grip and waved me goodbye while my brother, soobin in the corner had a smirk plastered all over his face. With a heavy heart I left the house .

Night 08:29 am

I was walking on the sidewalk when a black posh car stopped by my side , it was a really expensive Rolls Royce. I was eyeballing the posh car when the front door opened and man wearing a black suit came outside, walked towards me, he came and stopped in front of me and bowed .

" Are you ready to leave mam?"

I was surprised by this question

" What ? Where am I ready to go?and who the hell are you ? "

He looked at me from head to toe and then grabbed my wrist .

" Let me go you jerk !"

I kicked and wailed but no one came to help me . As he pushing me in that posh car I looked back at my house only to get shocked by seeing my parents, crying standing outside the house and waving me goodbye but my brother still smirking.

Night 12:30 pm

My eyes opened in a huge beautiful room , yet it scared me a lot , as I sat up on the bed my head was still dizzy , I looked around and suddenly the door opened and someone very familiar entered the room and my eyes widened in disbelief as it was one of the customers I saw at the karaoke bar , he was Jungkook, actually my friend Lin Yi used to have a crush on him and tried to flirt with him but he was busy checking me out and he thought I didn't notice him doing it .

" You're awake already?" He said in a husky voice

" Let me go Jungkook, please" .

What he said in reply shocked me to the core . He told me that my parents sold me to him because they had no money to pay my brother's study fees .

" Tomorrow is our wedding day, you need to be ready for the big day " , after he said this his lips curled into a smirk and he left the room leaving yn depressed.

Saturday 02:43

As the sun set over the lavish wedding venue, YN stood beside Jungkook, her heart racing with a mix of fear and resentment. She had been kidnapped by him just hours before, dragged away from her life and forced into this sham of a marriage. The elegant white dress she wore felt like a suffocating shroud, the delicate lace and satin a cruel mockery of her predicament.

Jungkook's grip on her hand was like a vice, his fingers digging deep into her skin as he glared at her, willing her to respond to the vows. But YN remained silent, her eyes cast downward, her spirit crushed by the weight of her circumstances. She felt like a prisoner, trapped in a gilded cage with no escape.

The ceremony ended without a kiss, Jungkook's expression triumphant, as if he had won a prize. YN felt like a trophy, a pawn in his game of power and control. The reception was a blur of forced smiles and fake laughter, YN's heart heavy with sorrow. She went through the motions, her mind numb and detached from the proceedings.

The room was filled with guests, but she felt alone, trapped in a nightmare she couldn't wake up from. Jungkook's eyes never left hers, his gaze piercing and cold, a constant reminder of her captivity. The music played, the champagne flowed, but YN's heart remained dull and unhappy, her soul screaming for freedom.

She couldn't help but think back to her days at the karaoke bar, where she had first met Jungkook. She had been a singer, pouring her heart out on stage, and he had been a patron, his eyes fixed on her with an intensity that made her skin crawl. She had dismissed him as a creep, but little did she know that he was a man who got what he wanted, no matter the cost.

And now, she was his wife, bound to him by law and circumstance. The thought sent a shiver down her spine, and she felt a wave of despair wash over her. She was trapped, with no escape in sight.

4 hours later

As they entered their luxurious bedroom, YN's heart raced with a mix of anger and fear. She knew she had to be strong, to play along until she could find a way to escape.

Jungkook locked the door behind them, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "So, my dear wife, shall we celebrate our union?"

YN's gaze was icy. "Celebrate? You kidnapped me, forced me into this marriage. What's there to celebrate?"

Jungkook chuckled, his eyes never leaving hers. "Ah, but you're mine now. And I always get what I want."

YN's hands clenched into fists. "You may have me trapped, but you'll never own me. I'll never submit to you."

Jungkook's smile grew wider. "Oh, but you will. You'll learn to obey me, to please me. And if you don't..." His voice trailed off, leaving the threat hanging in the air.

YN's heart raced, but she refused to back down. "I'll never be your puppet. And one day, I'll make you pay for this."

Jungkook laughed, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You're so fierce, so passionate. I love it. But for now, let's just enjoy our wedding night, shall we?"

YN's eyes narrowed. "Enjoy it? You're delusional. I'll never enjoy being trapped in this sham of a marriage."

Jungkook's expression turned cold, his eyes flashing with anger. "You'll do as I say, wife. And if you don't... well, let's just say I have ways of persuading you."

YN's heart raced, but she stood her ground, her eyes locked on his. She knew she had to be strong, to resist him at all costs. For she knew that if she gave in, even once, she would be lost forever.

Morning 12:43 pm

As the first light of dawn crept into the room, Jungkook's eyes fluttered open, his gaze drawn to the serene form beside him. YN slept peacefully, her breathing gentle, her lips slightly parted. He felt a pang in his chest, a tender feeling he couldn't quite explain.

Without thinking, he leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, gentle kiss. YN didn't stir, lost in slumber, unaware of the tender moment they shared. Jungkook's heart raced, his pulse pounding in his ears, as he savored the sweetness of her lips.

The kiss was brief, yet filled with longing. Jungkook pulled back, his eyes drinking in the sight of her peaceful face. He felt a strange sense of vulnerability, as if he'd exposed a part of himself he couldn't hide.

He gazed at her, mesmerized by the gentle rise and fall of her chest, the soft curve of her lips, and the delicate lines of her face. In that moment, he felt a deep connection, a sense of belonging he'd never experienced before.

As the sun rose higher, casting a warm glow over the room, Jungkook carefully withdrew from the bed, leaving YN to her slumber. He knew she wouldn't remember the kiss, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something had shifted between them.

He stood at the window, lost in thought, as the city awakened outside. The kiss lingered on his lips, a reminder of the fragile bond they shared. He realized that, despite their tumultuous beginning, he wanted to explore this newfound connection, to see where it might lead.

For the first time, Jungkook felt a glimmer of hope that their forced union might become something more – a love that would conquer all, even their own stubborn hearts.

He got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up and to get ready for his office .

Jungkook crept into the room, his eyes fixed on her peaceful form. She was fast asleep, her chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. The soft light of the evening sun cast a warm glow on her face, and Jungkook's heart swelled with affection. He couldn't resist the urge to lean in and press his lips to hers, his heart racing with excitement.

The kiss was soft and gentle, barely a whisper on her lips. Jungkook's eyes closed as he savored the moment, feeling a rush of emotions. He pulled away slowly, his eyes never leaving hers, and smiled to himself, feeling a mix of guilt and sweetness. He knew he shouldn't have done it, but he couldn't help himself.

He tiptoed to the bathroom to freshen up, trying not to make a sound. As he washed his hands and splashed water on his face, he couldn't shake off the feeling of excitement. He felt like a teenager again, sneaking kisses and getting away with it.

When he returned, his gaze fell on her again, and his heart skipped a beat. The blanket had slipped off her shoulders, exposing her skin. He felt a surge of protectiveness and quietly approached her. He picked up the blanket and gently spread it over her, tucking it around her snugly.

But as he reached for the blanket, his eyes caught something else - a loose button on her shirt. Jungkook's face flushed bright red as he hesitated, his hand hovering over the button. He felt a sudden shyness wash over him, and his heart raced even faster.

He thought about leaving it alone, pretending he hadn't seen it. But his eyes kept drifting back to the small opening, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that he needed to fix it. With trembling fingers, he carefully tied the button, trying not to touch her skin. He couldn't meet her eyes, even though she was still asleep. He felt like an intruder, yet he couldn't help himself.

Finally, he covered her with the blanket, making sure she was snug and comfortable. With one last glance, he turned and swiftly left the room, his face still burning with embarrassment.

His heart still raced as he leaned against the wall outside, trying to process what had just happened. He couldn't believe he had kissed her while she was sleeping, and then...and then he had tied her button like a nervous schoolboy! Jungkook chuckled to himself, shaking his head in disbelief. What was he getting himself into?

He took a deep breath and pushed off the wall, deciding to distract himself with a snack or a walk. But his mind kept wandering back to her, and the way she looked with her eyes closed and her lips slightly parted. He couldn't help but wonder what she would say if she knew what he had done. Would she laugh and tease him, or would she be touched by his gentle gesture?

Jungkook sighed and rubbed his face, feeling a mix of emotions. He knew he needed to be more careful, to respect her boundaries and her sleep. But he couldn't help the way he felt, and the way his heart skipped a beat whenever he saw her. He was in trouble, and he knew it. But for now, he would savor the moment, and the memory of her soft lips and gentle breathing.

He loved her more than anything but still decided to act cold towards her to make her fall for him him , so they both could have feelings for each other.

He went downstairs and sat at the empty table constantly waiting for his breakfast and tapping softly on the table remembering the tender moment while shifting his hand from the table to his lips , he was blushing and smiling softly while thinking about her , her beautiful lips were like a drug for him that he wanted to claim as quickly as possible

Jungkook sat at the table, his eyes fixed on the maid as she approached with his breakfast. He couldn't help but smile, feeling a sense of warmth in his chest. The maid, misinterpreting his expression, thought she saw a glimmer of hope and her heart skipped a beat. She set the plate down in front of him, her hands trembling slightly.

But Jungkook's smile faltered as soon as the maid's eyes met his. His expression turned cold, and he began to eat in silence. The maid's heart sank, realizing her mistake. After finishing his meal, Jungkook stood up and instructed the eldest maid to serve YN breakfast before leaving the house.

Meanwhile, YN woke up with a strange sensation on her lips. She brushed it off and headed downstairs, where she was met with an unexpected sight. All the maids were bowing to her, including the elderly maid. YN approached the older woman and gently told her not to bow, also requesting that no one call her "mam." The maids nodded and dispersed.

The maid who had a crush on Jungkook seethed with jealousy, her resentment towards YN growing. She sloppily served YN her breakfast, making YN wonder if Jungkook hated her too. But the elderly maid's words clarified that Jungkook had indeed instructed her to serve YN breakfast. YN lost her appetite and retreated to her room.

As the day passed, YN paced back and forth, scheming ways to escape. She opened the window, only to be discouraged by the numerous guards patrolling the mansion grounds. Time dragged on, and by 1 AM, YN found herself waiting for Jungkook, her mind racing with thoughts. She decided to occupy herself by cooking something.

YN began preparing kimbap, her hands moving deftly as she assembled the ingredients. The aroma of vegetables and rice filled the air, and her stomach growled in anticipation. When Jungkook arrived, she served him the kimbap with a hint of annoyance and hatred, her expression suggesting she was forced to do so. Jungkook sensed her hunger and, as she turned to leave, he grasped her hand firmly, pulling her back.

"Sit with me," he said, his voice low and gentle.

YN hesitated, her eyes flashing with defiance. But Jungkook's grip held firm, and she reluctantly sat beside him. He gestured for her to eat, his chopsticks holding a piece of kimbap near her mouth.

YN pulled away, her eyes flashing with defiance. She marched to the kitchen, returning with a plate of kimbap, noticeably colder than the one she had served Jungkook. As they ate in silence, the tension between them was palpable. YN's mind raced with thoughts of escape, while Jungkook's gaze lingered on her, his expression softening. He noticed the temperature difference between their kimbap and swiftly exchanged their plates. YN's eyes widened in surprise.

"Why did you do that?" she asked, her voice laced with curiosity and a hint of irritation.

Jungkook's expression softened further. "I prefer my kimbap cold, but it's not good for you. You need something warm and nourishing." His gaze held a gentle concern, his actions speaking louder than words.

YN's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with questions. Why did Jungkook care about her well-being? Was it pity or something more? She couldn't decipher his intentions, but her heart fluttered at the thought of him showing kindness towards her.

The silence between them stretched, the only sound being the clinking of chopsticks against the plate. YN's eyes met Jungkook's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable.

Jungkook broke the silence, his voice low and gentle. "YN, can we talk?"

YN's heart skipped a beat. What did Jungkook want to discuss? Her escape attempts? Her presence in the mansion? She nodded curtly, her eyes never leaving his.

And so they began to converse, their words hesitant at first but gradually flowing like a gentle stream. They spoke of nothing significant, yet everything seemed to hold meaning. The air around them shifted, the tension easing into a comfortable silence.

As they finished their meal, Jungkook helped YN with her plate, their fingers touching briefly. The spark of electricity was undeniable, and YN's heart raced with a mix of excitement and fear.

With a quiet thank you, YN retreated to her room, her mind whirling with thoughts of Jungkook and the strange connection they shared. She couldn't explain it, but something in his eyes made her feel seen and understood.

As she lay in bed, her eyes closed, she wondered what the future held for her and Jungkook

It was the next day , Jungkook left for the office and yn was in her room when

YN's ears detected the sound of the door opening, her heart began to race like a wild stallion. She instinctively knew something was amiss. With a sense of trepidation, she descended the stairs, her eyes scanning the foyer for any signs of danger. That's when she saw them - four menacing figures, their faces obscured by masks, their eyes gleaming with malice.

Two of them advanced towards her, their movements swift and calculated. YN's heart skipped a beat as they grasped her arms, their grip like a vice. Panic set in, her mind racing with desperate thoughts. Just as all hope seemed lost, a whirlwind of motion burst into the scene.

Jungkook appeared out of nowhere, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity. With a swift kick, he sent one of the assailants crashing to the floor. His fists flew in rapid succession, striking true and sending the other attackers stumbling back. YN's heart pounded in her chest, her eyes fixed on Jungkook's fluid movements.

In the heat of the battle, Jungkook's training and expertise shone like a beacon. His body moved with a fluid grace, his punches and kicks landing with precision. The attackers, taken aback by his sudden intervention, stumbled and fell. YN's heart swelled with gratitude as Jungkook swiftly dispatched the last of the would-be killers.

As the dust settled, YN's gaze locked onto Jungkook's, her eyes brimming with emotion. Without a word, she flung her arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. Jungkook's arms encircled her, holding her close as her body trembled with relief and fear.

"Thank you," she whispered, her voice muffled against his chest.

Jungkook's heart still raced with exertion, but a small smile played on his lips. "You're safe now," he said, his voice low and reassuring.

YN nodded, her grip on him tightening. "Thank you," she repeated, her voice barely audible.

Jungkook held her for a moment longer, his arms a safe haven from the chaos that had just ensued. Then, gently, he released her, his eyes never leaving hers. "Let's get you somewhere safe," he said, his voice firm and protective.

YN nodded, her eyes still locked on his. Together, they walked away from the scene of the battle, Jungkook's presence a steady anchor in the storm.Jungkook led YN to a secure room deep within the mansion, the walls reinforced with steel and the windows bulletproof. He gestured for her to sit on the couch, and she did, her eyes still wide with fear.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked, his voice soft with concern. "Did they hurt you?"

YN shook her head, her lips trembling. "N-no, I'm fine. Thanks to you."

Jungkook nodded, his eyes scanning her face. "I'm just glad I got there in time."

YN's gaze dropped to her hands, clenched into fists. "I was so scared. I thought...I thought it was all over for me."

Jungkook's expression softened. "You're safe now. I promise. No one will hurt you while I'm around."

Their eyes met, and YN felt a surge of gratitude towards this man who had saved her life. "Thank you," she whispered again, her voice barely audible.

Jungkook smiled and nodded. "Anytime, YN. Anytime."Jungkook's expression turned serious as he began to pace around the room. "YN, I know this may seem sudden, but I need to teach you how to defend yourself. You're in danger, and I can't always be there to protect you."

YN's eyes widened as Jungkook stopped in front of a large cabinet. He opened it, revealing an array of weapons that made her heart race.

"Starting with the heaviest, we have sniper rifles," Jungkook said, lifting a sleek black rifle from the shelf. "These are long-range weapons, perfect for taking out enemies from a distance."

YN's eyes followed the rifle as Jungkook handed it to her. She felt its weight, surprised by how heavy it was.

Next, Jungkook showed her handguns, pistols, and revolvers. He explained the different types of ammunition, how to load and unload, and how to aim correctly.

As they moved on to lighter weapons, YN's comfort level grew. She learned about knives, batons, and even martial arts techniques.

Jungkook patiently taught her, his hands guiding hers as they practiced various moves. YN's initial hesitation gave way to determination, her focus fueled by the desire to protect herself.

With each passing hour, YN felt a sense of empowerment wash over her. She was no longer the helpless victim; she was a survivor, ready to fight back.

As the training came to an end, Jungkook smiled, his eyes shining with pride. "You're a quick learner, YN. I knew you had it in you."

YN smiled back, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Jungkook. "Thanks to you, I feel like I can take on the world."

Jungkook chuckled. "Not the world, just the bad guys. But remember, weapons are only a last resort. Your safety is my top priority."

YN nodded, her heart filled with appreciation for this man who had become her protector, mentor, and friend. As YN gazed at Jungkook, her heart swelled with emotions she couldn't quite explain. It wasn't just gratitude or admiration; it was a deep connection that went beyond rational thinking. Her mind might not be ready to acknowledge it, but her heart had already begun to feel a subtle tug, a gentle whisper that this man was special.

As they stood there, surrounded by the weapons and the intensity of their training session, YN's heart raced with a newfound awareness. She felt a flutter in her chest, a softness in her gaze, and a willingness to trust this man with her life.

It wasn't a conscious decision, but a subtle shift in her emotions. Her heart had begun to open up, ever so slightly, to the possibility of something more with Jungkook. Something that went beyond mere protection and mentorship.

But for now, she wouldn't dare to acknowledge it, even to herself. It was a secret her heart kept, a hidden truth that only the deepest recesses of her soul could comprehend.YN's heart may have betrayed her by developing a soft spot for Jungkook, but her mind remained resolute in its mission to eliminate him. She was determined to see her original plan through, no matter how her emotions now protested.

With a steely gaze, YN watched Jungkook, her mind calculating the best moment to strike. She knew it wouldn't be easy, not after everything he had done for her, but she couldn't let her feelings get in the way of her objective.

As they continued training, YN's hands moved with precision, her eyes locked onto Jungkook's, her heart silently battling her brain. The war within her raged on, a conflict between loyalty and betrayal, duty and desire.

But for now, she would bide her time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Jungkook might have saved her life, but she was still determined to take his. The question was, would her heart allow it?
