Adeline woke up with a splitting headache, she had no idea when or how she fell asleep. She opened her eyes and remained still in that position on the bed. The room was dimly lit but she recognized it as the same room she was in the last time she woke up.
Only this time it was different, she felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around her, spooning her from behind. One guess and she already knew who it was, his woody cologne filled her nostrils as he enveloped her from behind.
Adeline could feel goosebumps rising on her skin as she registered the position she was in, this was not the first time she was waking up in his arms but it still gets her every time.
She didn't dare to move for fear of waking him up, it was already awkward that he was holding her like this talk less of when he wakes up. Adeline closed her eyes and took in deep breaths but that was a bad idea because it only made her inhale more of his manly scent.
