Adeline couldn't tell how long she had been sleeping but by the time she opened her eyes, it was dark again. It took a while for her to register the environment she was in, she remembered sitting in the car and then feeling a little dizzy.
She stretched her hands out hoping to find him lying next to her but the bed was cold, she took in deep breaths to try and calm herself down.
The room was dark and so it was hard for her to see but she tried her best to get up from the bed, she waved her hands in the air to try and feel any surface but there was nothing in front.
She slowly put one leg down and then the next before getting up from the bed, she looked around and found a small curtain. She walked towards it and opened it.
"Oh....it's still bright" Adeline thought to herself when she looked out the window.
"Beautiful" she mouthed unconsciously as she gazed at the hills in front of her.
