Adeline didn't get the time to register what happened, one minute he was bleeding and the next he was laughing and now she was being dragged out by a pair of strong arms. She didn't know where he was taking her and she didn't dare to ask, judging by the expression on his face, she could tell he was upset.
He continued to drag her upstairs till they got to another open space, she looked around the place. All she could find were foot wears, the man had stopped dragging her and now he was standing in front of her.
The place was empty and only the sound of their breathing could be heard in the vast shopping area. Adeline swallowed the lump in her throat as she matched his gaze, she didn't see any reason for him to be upset. He already punched the young fellow on the face and Adeline thought they were done with that chapter already.
