Chapter 75 - Chapter 73

Merlin's expression shifted when he saw the news, and he had a sense of why Coulson was in such a hurry to leave. With an abnormal event occurring, SHIELD, which handles extraterrestrial and supernatural incidents, needed to respond quickly.

As Merlin thought about the materials for his upcoming project, the idea of the Destroyer's Uru metal came to mind. He also considered retrieving the AllSpark from Megatron. Initially, Uru metal wasn't something Merlin had considered for Arcee's transformation. Uru, being a magical metal, wasn't his specialty, and in terms of hardness, it was somewhat weaker than vibranium and adamantium. However, since the Marvel world is filled with magicians, incorporating magic resistance into the Gundam design was necessary. Without it, a magical encounter could easily put the modified Gundam at a disadvantage.

Having made up his mind, Merlin stood up and headed toward the backyard.

Once in the backyard, Optimus Prime and the other Autobots were parked side by side, quietly waiting in their vehicle forms.

Ku-kukikiki...

When Merlin approached, they instantly transformed into their Autobot forms.

"Merlin, are you okay?" Ratchet asked, his voice filled with concern.

"I'm better now. If Optimus Prime hadn't taken most of the damage for me, I probably wouldn't be standing here," Merlin said, shaking his head. He then looked up at the weakened Optimus Prime.

"How are you feeling now?" Merlin asked.

"I may need to rest for a while... I'm too injured," Optimus Prime replied in his deep, gravelly voice.

Under Megatron's treacherous attack, Optimus Prime's body was riddled with scars, and sparks continued to fly out from the damaged areas in the dark night.

"Don't worry, I'll find a way to repair your injuries, and I'll make sure to get you the best materials," Merlin reassured him with a wave of his hand. Recently, Bullseye had made a breakthrough, and Merlin had discovered a way through the Dark Wind Lord to obtain Adamantium.

After all, Optimus Prime had taken the hit for him, so using Adamantium to repair his injuries seemed fitting. With Adamantium, Optimus wouldn't be harmed so easily next time. While Merlin had some Adamantium on hand now, it wasn't enough to fully repair Optimus Prime. Instead, he had used it to craft a melta sword.

Within the past month, Merlin had also used Stark Industries' lab to create the first version of a bio-metal suit, though it was still in its final stages. With the newly acquired bionic chip technology, he expected it to be completed within the next two days.

"Please, we must find Megatron as soon as possible. He's obtained the AllSpark and hasn't made any moves yet," Optimus Prime said, nodding gratefully before sighing with anxiety.

Although Merlin didn't know why Megatron chose not to invade Earth immediately after obtaining the AllSpark, it seemed like he was waiting for something. Regardless, Optimus Prime couldn't afford to relax.

"Well, I may need to go on a business trip for a day or two. I should be back soon to repair your metal," Merlin replied, then remembered something. "By the way, there's a human agent named Simmons who wants to talk to you. It's likely about the Decepticons. Are you interested?"

With the arrival of Optimus Prime and Megatron, it was likely that more Transformers from both factions would start arriving on Earth. Merlin also realized that the Manhattan players' Transformers vehicles lacked the power of the AllSpark. He knew he had to find a way to upgrade them, or they might struggle in the next phase of the game.

Optimus Prime pondered for a moment. If they were to find the Decepticons hidden on Earth, cooperation with the human military was essential. "We really need to talk, but let's wait until my injury recovers," he said cautiously, knowing that working with humans required careful consideration.

"Alright, take care of yourself for now. If you need anything, don't hesitate to contact me," Merlin added. "It's best if you don't go out for now—there are a lot of people looking for you."

"Understood!" Optimus Prime and the others nodded in agreement.

Los Angeles. The eagle-faced Predator, Camille, was camouflaged near a river, making a deep, guttural sound that resembled a toad's croak. His radar continuously scanned the surroundings, searching for any signs of prey.

Camille was an elite Yautja, a member of the Predator race. This time, he had come to Earth to hunt down the Alien Queen, who had fled to the planet. As lifelong enemies, the Predators and Xenomorphs had been hunting each other across the universe since their existence began.

"Beep... Beep..." Suddenly, two alarms echoed through his system, and an unfamiliar panel automatically popped up on his interface.

*[Welcome to Rockstar, Predator]*

*[Mission Released]*

*[Go to New Mexico to defeat the Asgardian warriors: Thor, Sif, Volstagg, Hogun, and Fandral]*

*[Mission Rewards]*

*[Alien Queen's lair location]*

*[Do you accept the mission?]*

Camille remained silent for a moment. He removed his mask and tapped it with his hand.

*"Thud... Thud... Thud..."*

He put it back on, only to see the mission page still there. Confused, he took off the mask again, knocked it a few more times, and shook it, but the mission panel remained unchanged.

Realizing that his mask wasn't malfunctioning, Camille finally accepted the situation.

*"Warriors... warriors..."* he muttered to himself, intrigued by the idea. His itch for battle flared up as he considered the challenge ahead.

After reviewing the mission location and noting that it wouldn't take too long, Camille clicked to accept the mission.

...

After the mission was released, Merlin carefully reviewed the images and information sent by the little mute. A group of human traffickers had set up a base in the mountains near Vinewood Hills in Los Angeles. Their operations were mostly tied to bars and nightclubs, with their trafficking victims being primarily women deceived and sold into these industries. However, about a week ago, the human trafficking suddenly stopped, and one by one, the traffickers mysteriously disappeared.

Based on the extensive surveillance footage retrieved by sol, it appeared that the traffickers' base had been overtaken by Xenomorphs.

*"This went smoother than expected..."* Merlin remarked after marking the location. He instructed the little mute to generate a temporary plan.

The Alien Queen was a valuable target, but Merlin wasn't particularly interested in her. What fascinated him more was seeing the kind of creatures that would hatch after facehuggers parasitized various hosts. He was especially curious whether the biometallic bodies of the Transformers would work as hosts.

With the location of the alien lair confirmed, Merlin felt a sense of relief. After grabbing a quick breakfast, he left his home, weaving through the Green Men parade on his way to Stark Tower.

*"Click!"* The bright lights of the lab turned on, flooding the room with light.

Merlin's eyes focused on the display in front of him. Under the spotlight rested a heavy mechanical sword. The sword was crafted from Adamantium, and thanks to the addition of a hot melt ion device, it exuded a weighty, mechanical feel.

Beside the sword was a sleek black and white battle armor. The armor had a slender, sharp appearance, with a cold fusion energy source moved from the heart to the center of the chest. The faceplate featured black, V-shaped electronic eyes that gave it a cutting-edge look.

Merlin had borrowed design elements from the Alliance Source Project's Sword Master and Sword Girl for this armor. As a result, it had both the mechanical sharpness and the human-like agility necessary for combat.
