There was just enough of a bite in the air that Sarina took Lucans's offered arm. The beach was very scenic at this time of day she would admit. All the versions of orange that she could imagine reflected off the navy blue waves. The sand between their toes was soft, nearly uncomfortably hot holding onto the heat of the day.
They walked like this for a while trying to find a nice spot to sit and watch the sunset. They found the ideal spot, partway down the beach between a dune and a fishing pier. An old fire pit sat in the center with logs dragged to the side where a party had been the night before.
