Alan cringed when he heard Ethan's harsh and vicious voice, especially since his words terrified him.
But before he could beg for compassion again, Dylan roared, "Yes, Ethan!"
Dylan grasped Alan's still intact left ankle and tightened his grip, breaking it instantly!
"Ah! Ah! "My ankle! S-so.. painful.. ahh!!" Alan yelled miserably, his face covered in tears and mucous. The pain of breaking his ankle nearly killed him, but he refused to faint.
"Ugh, you sound like a pig being slaughtered. I did not expect even how big your body is and how noisy you are! You're so noisy!" Dylan gave Alan a disapproving look before kicking him in the nape. Alan's eyes drifted to the back of his skull as he passed out.
Dylan hauled Alan out of the home by the leg like a dead dog. They soon disappeared.
Ethan removed his hands from Sophia's eyes and ears and brought her over.
Selene had been standing at the room's threshold, astonished and zoning out since Dylan appeared and clamped down on Alan's calf unexpectedly. After seeing the scene before her, she was dumbfounded for a long time, which seemed to be a dream. She was not able to react to what Dylan was doing. She had been rooted in her position for a long time.
Alan Carroll, the hypocritical and cruel filth who had imprisoned her for a month and even attempted to force himself on her, was taken away like a wimping dog. He had no power, and all of his passionate begging was futile. She is still processing what has happened.
And the influential person who put him in such a position was Sophia's family...
Sophia was perched on Ethan's arm, one arm snugly wrapped around his neck. When she noticed Selene standing dumbfounded at the room door, she screamed happily, "Aunt Selene! Daddy came to get me up! The large, nasty person was beaten and hauled away. You don't need to be terrified anymore! See! I told you my daddy will come and beat him! My daddy is a hero!"
Only then did Selene realize that the attractive man in front of her, who appeared to be relatively young, was Sophia's father, about whom the latter had been clamoring. This man in front of him now has a calm demeanor and an aura of a terrifying but warm character.
Furthermore, Sophia's father was quite powerful. He had taught Alan a lesson and then got rid of him.
The devil's shackles would no longer bind her. She would finally be able to embrace independence! Freedom is screaming!
Selene was so pleased that tears flowed uncontrollably from her eyes. She began choking and sobbing, unable to find words as she stared at Ethan with appreciation in her eyes. He is the reason of her freedom.
When Ethan saw Selene, he was surprised. The woman in front of him appeared young but beautiful. He has no idea of her involvement here.
Furthermore, she was smart and graceful, and her waist-length hair lent her the refined and delicate look of a classic beauty.
It was no surprise that the scumbag Alan wanted to keep her imprisoned here.
He and Dylan had just overheard Selene and Alan's argument and noticed how much she liked and defended Sophia.
"Daddy, Aunt Selene is very nice. She was only joking with me and was about to teach me how to bake a giant cake so I can bake a cake for you and mommy at home. Unfortunately, the bad man showed up unexpectedly, and we were unable to bake the cake... "If Aunt Selene hadn't saved me just now, that bad guy would have beaten me up!" Sophia quickly said to Ethan, her big cheeks swelled out. Reiterating what had just happened.
"Thank you for taking care of my daughter." Ethan thanked Selene gravely.
When he found Sophia in the small room just now, she was clearly in good health and not too scared. This is a good indication that Sophia was in better shape and not traumatic with today's events.
Furthermore, Selene gave her toys, coloring books, food, and other items that youngsters enjoyed around her.
Selene had consented to Alan's request primarily because she was concerned for Sophia. A woman he had just recently met went to such lengths for his daughter. Ethan was really appreciative.
Selene raised her hand, wiped the tears from her face, and replied, embarrassed, "You don't have to thank me. I really didn't accomplish anything... I should thank you and Sophia instead. If it hadn't been for you, I could have been violated... You guys saved me, so you are my benefactors. I'll always remember your kindness! Thank you very much."
Selene bowed before Ethan.
Ethan hurriedly helped Selene up. "It was only a tiny favor. "I can't accept this."
Ethan then produced a business card from his pocket and presented it to Selene. "This is my business card. My name is Ethan Knight. No matter what problems you have in the future, you can call me, and I will assist you. Just don't hesitate to ask for help. You have save my daughter, and I will return your kindness."
Ethan didn't mind helping Selene because she had been so lovely to Sophia.
Selene took the business card, including his name and phone number.
"Mr. Knight, my name is Selene Torres, I don't have any business card but thank you for your kindness." she added. She didn't have any business cards with her.
"Alright, Miss Torres, you may leave now. Alan Carroll will not be allowed to threaten you again in the future. I will take Sophia home first. Goodbye," Ethan said, smiling. Then he turned to depart, carrying Sophia in his arms.
"Goodbye, Aunt Selene! You are invited to visit and play at our home!" Sophia twisted her body in Ethan's arms before waving goodbye to Selene.
Selene waved at them with a joyous smile she hadn't had in a long time. "Okay! I will visit you soon! Goodbye! "
Dylan had already taken Alan away, but there was still a car available for Ethan.
Ethan drove, and Sophia sat patiently in the back seat, her seatbelt fastened. Throughout the drive, she talked about how friendly Selene had been to her. She talked about the cartoons they are watching, the food they ate and the toys they played.
Ethan grinned as he listened to Sophia. She didn't appear afraid today, and he was grateful for that!
They soon returned home.
Charlotte, who had been frightened for a long time, raced out as soon as she heard the car drive into the driveway. She watched Ethan carrying Sophia in and groaning before setting her down.
Anastasia had worked overtime at the office but had already returned home. She was taken aback when she saw Ethan and Sophia. "Where were you, guys? "Why did you arrive home so late?"
Ethan and Charlotte had not informed Anastasia that Luisa Thorn had abducted Sophia and that Charlotte had been compelled to go to Alan Carroll's pub out of fear that she would be concerned.
Now that he had successfully returned Sophia home and nothing had happened to Charlotte, they intended to conceal the problematic situation that had just occurred from Anastasia.
Sophia jumped into Anastasia's arms and cried, "Mommy!" while Ethan was attempting to think of a strange topic to discuss. "Today, I played at Aunt Selene's house. She's as beautiful as a fairy! She's so kind. She entertained me with toys and stories and offered to show me how to prepare a large cake. But before we could prepare the cake, a nasty guy arrived and tried to hurt me and Aunt Selene. Mommy, let us invite Aunt Selene over next time. I like her!" Sophia blinked her wide, wet eyes again before looking at Ethan. "Daddy, let's play with Aunt Selene tomorrow, okay?"
When Anastasia heard Sophia speak these words in her childish voice, her expression shifted. She gazed at Ethan with a complex expression, her heart full of difficult-to-explain feelings. She's jealous!
