Chapter 120 - Where Is Ethan?

Attal appeared cultured and elegant, yet he was brutally vicious, frequently breaking the limbs of individuals who caused trouble in the club. This was why Attal became the club's manager at such a young age. He knows the play.

However, Attal swallowed his pride and knelt to the young man in front of him, who was in his twenties and did not appear to be particularly powerful.

What is the young man's background?!

Ethan cast an apathetic look at Attal, who was smiling deferentially. "Regardless of what you believe, I'll state things openly ahead. If somebody dares to cause problems for me and those around me in the future, they should consider whether they are tired of living. This is my final warning."

His tone was excellent, but his words caused Attal's heart to pound rapidly. He suddenly let go of his nasty ideas. He knows what to do.

"Yes, Mr Knight. Do not worry. We will not do anything out of line."

Ethan glanced at him before turning, followed closely by the towering and burly Noah.

Ferry had intended to attempt sucking up to Ethan, but when he noticed how indifferent Ethan appeared, he was wise enough not to pursue him.

Of course, he did not grab the $480,000 worth of coins on the ground.

Regardless of who Ethan was attempting to prevent, Ferry was shocked and had already reconsidered Ethan's status and purpose.

The people who remained in the Grand8 glanced at the coins in the foyer before turning to one other, speechless.

A club service supervisor approached Attal and muttered, "Mr. Attal, are we... just going to let that arrogant punk go? He causes trouble here in our place, right?"

"If you have what it takes, catch him then. I will not hold your tongue." Attal glared at him. The latter was immediately silent and flinched.

They had all seen the scene just now. Who could defeat Ethan if they went after him?

"Use your thoughts and think things through thoroughly. Who are the individuals around him? Even if we cooperate, none of us can defeat his subordinates! "How are we supposed to catch him? You understand?" Attal scowled at his brainless subordinate.

"What are you waiting for?" Hurry up and have someone bag up the coins on the ground. They're worth $1,030,000, after all! Okay, now go pacify the consumers and encourage them to keep gambling. Let's continue on what we are doing now."

"Prepare a cheque for $550,000 and some gifts. "Get some people to accompany me to apologize to Charles Reed."

"What? "Mr. Attal, do you still plan to apologize to them?" The supervisor was astounded. He assumed Attal was making a casual comment and would send someone to apologize to Charles. He is contemplating if what he hears is true.

"Duh! Do I have a choice? You brainless fools are useless! That guy's subordinates are so powerful, and you're nothing compared to them!" Attal berated. His subordinates lowered their heads, afraid to make a single sound.

Dylan was currently bringing Charles home.

As Dylan was Ethan's subordinate, Charles began insulting him, calling him an ill-mannered brat as rude as Ethan.

Dylan was furious. If not for Ethan's orders, he would have beaten Charles up! His temper is thinning by the second for this old guy.

Dylan tossed Charles at the door and turned to leave without looking back. He feared that another look at Charles would corrupt his vision and forget Ethan's instructions.

Anastasia, who had been worriedly waiting upstairs for quite some time, dashed downstairs as soon as she heard the disturbance. When she got downstairs, she noticed Charles cursing as he entered the house.

"Dad, are you okay?" Anastasia rushed forward and grabbed Charles' arm. She examined him and discovered that, while his face was bruised and swollen, and there were some footprints on his clothes, he thankfully had no severe injuries.

He had been beaten up, though.

Anastasia finally relaxed and looked back at the door. She discovered that no one was there. Her father had returned home alone.

"Dad, where is Ethan?" "He didn't return with you?" Anastasia hurriedly inquired.

Charles snorted bitterly and screamed angrily, "You're asking about him?" He was probably beaten to death. He deserved it!"

Anastasia's heart fell. She rushed to clutch Charles' hand, confused and enraged. "What happened? Dad, you owe someone hundreds of thousands of dollars. If Ethan hadn't brought the money to save you, you wouldn't be able to return now! How can you say that about him? "How is he now? Where is he? Why he is not with you?"

"What, hundreds of thousands?" Claudia also managed to leave her room just in time to hear Anastasia. She quickly scowled at Charles and exclaimed, "Make yourself clear! What, hundreds of thousands of dollars?

Anastasia violently shook Charles' arm, unable to hear her mother's questions. "Dad! "How is Ethan?"

"Hmph, I told that loser to return the money to those folks simply, but he insisted on standing up for me. Now he's in jeopardy. The Grand8 is something other than what he can flaunt.

"When I left, there were a lot of people around him. He might be dead now! "He truly deserves it for being stupid! I didn't ask him to stand up for me. I want him to pay the money."

Charles' tone was angry, and he was upset that Ethan had failed to follow his advice. He simply stated that Ethan deserved to be killed, completely ignoring the fact that Ethan had gone to a place like the Grand8 and addressed those individuals to save him.

"How did that happen..." Anastasia's heart was filled with disappointment and grief. The notion of Ethan being in jeopardy made her pulse race like a million blades. Her father's nasty and merciless comments made her miserable!

If she hadn't let Ethan go to save her father, he would not have been in such danger! Why does Ethan did not come home yet?

Warm tears streamed down her cheeks.

"No, I have to go look for him! There must be other way. It doesn't have to be this way. I might be able to save him."

Anastasia was so scared that she hurried out barefoot.

"Anastasia!"

"Anastasia!"

Anastasia ignored the yells behind her and ran out the door, only to collide with someone and fall into their embrace.

"Ah!"
