Chapter 68 - Ethan To The Rescue

Anastasia was in astonishment for a long time before asking, "Mr. Voss, what is your relationship... with Alaric Voss?"

Gudrich smiled. "He's my incompetent son."

Anastasia quickly tightened her hand.

The chairman of Dreamscape Media in front of her was Alaric Voss's father!

Gudrich must have known who Ethan was because he enquired about him!

Guddrich went on, "It's because of your capable husband, Ethan, that my unfaithful son has become the laughingstock of Emerald Coast County!" Miss Reed, what do you believe I should do in return? Can you tell me?"

Gudrich's sarcastic, false smile sent shivers down Anastasia's spine.

Anastasia would be a complete fool if she didn't realize by now that he wouldn't discuss cooperating with her. This is a set-up!

"No!" Anastasia jumped up immediately, her expression changing dramatically as she remembered the half cup of champagne she had just drunk.

However, the moment she stood up, she became disoriented and couldn't stand straight. Her drink was spiked!

"You!" Anastasia glared at Gudrich aggressively. But before she could finish saying anything, she blacked out and collapsed on the couch.

"Hmph." Gudrich stood alongside the couch, looking down at Anastasia, who had already passed out due to the medicine, with a nasty and menacing grimace on his face. "Ethan Knight, you've hurt my son and tarnished his reputation, so you'll have to pay the price!"

_ _

On the way, Ethan drove as quickly as possible in his Jaguar, weaving through traffic. Reaching the Dreamscape Media office building took him less than twenty minutes.

Anastasia had left almost 30 minutes ago.

He couldn't reach Anastasia by phone, so he wasn't sure if she was safe.

If something happened to Anastasia, he would undoubtedly kill the entire Voss family!

Ethan's stare was steely, and he had a violent air as he kicked the Dreamscape Media office building door with all his strength.

"Hey! "Who are you?" The attractive receptionist jumped up, startled, and retreated.

However, Ethan was already standing directly in front of her. "Did a woman named Anastasia visit here before? "Where is she now?"

Ethan's gaze was terrifying, and he wanted to devour someone. The receptionist was so terrified that she began shivering with terror. She didn't dare to speak up. Mr. Voss personally brought Anastasia to the private room. They are still doing the act now. I am merely a receptionist. How can I let someone go and still stop them?

Ethan was impatient, so he kicked the marble table to the side. The sturdy marble table soon fractured into tofu-like pieces before toppling in the center! "Speak!"

The attractive receptionist's body was fiercely shivering, and she was so terrified that her legs became weak. She collapsed to the ground, terrified. He kicked the solid marble table, causing a large hole in it. What if he kicks me? He's so strong!

At this point, she didn't care how afraid she was of Gudrich Voss. The man in front of her was pretty frightening!

"S-she's upstairs... in the private room..." the receptionist muttered, shaking, making the frigid atmosphere even more unpleasant.

Ethan left the front desk, leaving the terrified receptionist behind, and proceeded straight to the stairs.

"Who dares to create trouble here in Dreamscape Media?" A group of security personnel raced out to apprehend Ethan.

"Hmph, tell Gudrich Voss to come out!" Ethan didn't take the insignificant security officers seriously.

"How dare you call the chairman by his full name!" The captain of the security officers yelled as they surrounded Ethan.

A manager from Dreamscape Media dashed upstairs and reported from outside the private room, "Mr. Voss, a young man has barged in and demanded to see you and Miss Reed! He's incredibly skilled at fighting, and I'm concerned our security officers won't be able to stop him! Please tell us what to do next."

"Oh?" Gudrich knew who had arrived as soon as he heard it, and a cheeky smile spread across his face.

Tell him to come up. I've arranged a significant gift for him here!"

The management paused briefly. But as he considered Gudrich Voss's methods commonly employed, he responded respectfully, "Yes, Mr. Voss!"

The manager dashed downstairs, ready to order the security personnel to stand down, only to discover, to his surprise, that no security officer in the lobby could stand!

The manager felt his blood run cold. The manager felt like he would fall under Ethan's frigid gaze.

"M-Mr. Voss would like you to go upstairs," the manager mumbled, his teeth quivering from dread.

At this point, Ethan's aura was too frightening. A single glance made him shiver.

After flashing him a furious look, Ethan went upstairs.

Dylan emerged behind him, gripping a man's ankle as if he were a bloodied dead dog. He yanked him through the door and silently followed Ethan upstairs.

The manager pressed his body against the wall, breathed a sigh of relief, and sat down as the two passed by him. His pulse raced as he saw the trail of blood on the floor.

After Ethan and Dylan went upstairs, several small-time artists and wealthy clientele who had been hidden and observing began whispering to one another. But not daring to loudly voice out what's in their minds.

"This is the Vosses' business. Who would dare to cause havoc here?"

"Those two are just too young and have a death wish!"

"Exactly. The Voss family is powerful and has contacts with every gang. Even we wouldn't dare to meddle with them. Those two youngsters will most likely have no idea how they perished!"

As the discussion heated up below, Ethan and Dylan arrived upstairs.

The door to the private room opened. Gudrich was sitting on the leather couch casually. When he saw the two of them, he narrowed his eyes and assessed them. Ah, just two young punks. How can they beat up my son so severely?! Impossible!

Gudrich clicked his fingers, and an extensive and burly figure over two meters tall emerged from the side and stood beside him.

The floor rattled slightly when the strong man strode across the room. He intended to terrify Ethan and Dylan.

However, Ethan did not even look at the tall, robust man before him. Instead, he focused on the couch beside Gudrich.

Anastasia was lying on the sofa. Fortunately, she was fully clothed and had no additional signs on her body. The tightness in Ethan's heart gradually subsided. He was relieved that, at this point, Anastasia was safe and not touched in the slightest.

"You should be relieved that you did not touch her. Otherwise, you will need more time to sit here and speak with me. Ethan stared coldly at Gudrich. His cold aura froze the surrounding. Gudrich stared at Ethan, feeling the deadly shiver.
