When Yule was 11, he wanted to have a familiar whom his friends have since Christmas, so he asked his father if he can make one and got refused to make one until 11 years later, he decided to make his own artifact using all the materials he found through the Rune and Arcane Realm along with cloth and an extract from the Synergic Crystal's energy he gathered throughout the past 11 years.

After 9 months of efforts, once Yule was done making the artifact, he named it Phantasm after the black-purple color on their diamond necklace, and they appear to have a short stature, dark purple hair with light purple highlights and purple eyes with a star pupil, wearing a dress that matches the necklace's color, along with a cute face, moonlight hairpin and a weapon they hold at times, which made him select his artifact's gender as female.

In the next 5 days, he spent his time on configurating Phantasm and testing how she can function, and she was finished within 5 days, set to be his familiar, meaning that she has to serve and obey him, providing protection for him as he came to learn his new powers. They became friends and talked with each other almost everyday, week, months and years, but that wouldn't last long.

2 years later, she started to notice a malfunction in her system due to an toxic virus in her circuit and she started to create a brainwashing crystal mostly appearing as a floating prism on the outside, before her creator, Yule, now aged 25, confronted her over seeing his 10-year-old cousin Blaine getting manipulated by the crystal into making pranks on him and she betrayed him over that to start her own life of brainwashing others.

Meanwhile, in Blumenthal, there lived a girl called Mayra, aged 7 at the time, who had a loving grandfather and parents. The former mayor of Elyria at the time, was greedy and wanted to annex the village only for him to get attacked by the heroic Blumenspitzen who were called the heroes of Blumenthal by the villagers and the mayor herself.

After 4-months of peace, because the heroes of Blumenthal didn't come in time, the former mayor of Elyria came to set Blumenthal on fire, with the mayor of Blumenthal evacuating all of them towards the Ark Kingdom, and Mayra leaving the village with her father to live in Florian.

While the other Blumenspitzen lived in the Ark Kingdom, life was normal for Mayra in Florian and she went to attend an elementary school opposite the magic school of Florian whom Emil was attending at the time. One day, on her way back home, she first encountered Phantasm who has ran away from Yule 4 months ago and tells her what's wrong, only for her to brainwash her only to have no effect since the former was a Blumenspitz, which are historically immune to brainwashing.

Phantasm got mad over Mayra being immune to her attacks and disappeared to take a hibernation in Crystallin for 8 years. Fast-forward to 8 years, after Blaine became an adult at 18, Phantasm woke up from her slumber to possess his real father to steal his family heirloom without his mother's heirloom and keep it for himself before selling them to the loansharks who blackmailed Ostara's mother into unaliving herself, without their permission.

The next day, Aranea told Blaine that his real father has stolen his family heirloom and search for it before he sells it to the loansharks, and they managed to purify his father, with Phantasm leaving his body along with the heirloom and running away from them.

Blaine tried to run after Phantasm only for her to disappear and he went to Elyria, where he saw a quest board and there was a wanted poster of what seems to be... his missing family heirloom. Upon seeing a quest relating to the poster, he decided to accept this quest, and while on the way to search for the heirloom, he met a mysterious purple haired girl wearing a purple outfit with a large chest, 1 year his junior.

This girl introduced herself as Ostara, who was his best friend since preschool. On a flashback, when he was in the same middle school as her, she saw him getting bullied by her classmate Morena over his legitimacy and told her homeroom teacher who was on lunch break at the time, with him getting outraged at his student's behavior and reported to the school principal about her, which led her to be suspended from school for 2 weeks.

After 2 weeks, Morena and her friends bullied Ostara by vandalizing her locker in the locker room, and she got angry over them. During kendo class at the gym, while the entire class was wearing their own kendo uniform, and when the latter was training with her homeroom teacher at the time, Morena ran and injured Ostara's knee with a shinai, making her cry and he was angry at her for injuring her classmate.

Blaine saw all of these when he was on a break through a door and he immediately told the school advisors about what happened and they were furious about the brat's behavior, so they told the principal about this and finally, Morena got expelled from school for several reasons: bullying him for the past 2 months, harassing her male classmates, bringing alcohol to school, injuring others, almost driving a classmate to the brink of suicide, spreading rumors about Yeolbin and leading a gang outside of school, which led her to be arrested for attempting to unalive her homeroom teacher and his wife.

Back to the present-day, Blaine and Ostara were happy that they've known each other in 14 years and they saw Mayra running to them with a cage holding a mysterious fairy. She told them "Look what I've found... A real fairy!" he said "A fairy?" she replied "Yes, it's a real one!" he asked her about the fairy's name, and she named it Polina. Polina felt hungry and Emil fed her one of the macaroons from a box he bought from a local bakery for his brothers Oshun and Sacha. 

Blaine, Ostara and Mayra wanted the macaroons but Emil initially refused to give them, much to their disappointment, until he changed his mind upon knowing them and fed them the macaroons. After he fed the three his macaroons, the four became friends, and they settled on an action-packed adventure to search for Phantasm's whereabouts and Blaine's missing family heirloom.
