The soft glow of candlelight lit up the stone walls of the cave as Savannah and Blaze stepped into the secluded spa. The place felt magical and intimate, with the distant sound of trickling water adding to the calm. The warm air smelled lightly of lavender and eucalyptus, which relaxed Savannah as she held onto Blaze's arm.
"This is... amazing," Savannah whispered, her voice barely above a whisper, like she didn't want to break the peaceful silence.
Blaze's lips curved into a small smile and led her deeper inside. "I wanted to give you something special tonight—just the two of us, away from everything else."
Savannah turned to him, her eyes shining with emotion. "Blaze, you keep surprising me."
"And I plan to keep doing it," he said, his voice low and intimate.
The staff greeted them with big smiles and showed them to a private area in the spa. It was a romantic oasis—a bubbling natural hot spring pool surrounded by candles, with rose petals scattered all across the water's surface. A small table with chilled champagne and fresh fruit awaited them nearby.
Blaze helped Savannah slip off her silk robe, revealing the elegant one-piece swimsuit she wore beneath. His gaze lingered on her for a moment longer than necessary, admiration evident in his eyes.
"You're stunning," he said, his voice roughened by emotion.
Savannah blushed, reaching out to trace a finger along the edge of his jaw. "You're not so bad yourself, Mr. Baldwin."
Blaze gave a smirk but didn't say anything. He led her into the warm, mineral-rich water. Savannah sighed contentedly as the heat wrapped around her, relaxing every muscle in her body.
As they settled into the pool, Blaze pulled her close, positioning her between his legs with her back resting against his chest. Savannah tilted her head to look up at him, her lips curving into a soft smile.
"It feels like a dream." she whispered.
Blaze kissed her forehead and held her tight. "It's real, Ana. Just the start."
They stood there for a bit, enjoying the warmth of the water and each other. The candlelight shimmered in their eyes, and everything outside the cave felt distant.
After some time, Blaze grabbed the champagne, poured two glasses, and handed one to Savannah. He tapped his glass lightly against hers.
"To us." he said, his voice calm and full of love.
"To forever." Savannah responded, looking right into his eyes.
They sipped their champagne in silence. The bond between them was deep and unspoken. Blaze's hand found hers beneath the water, his thumb tracing lazy circles on her skin.
"You make me feel like the luckiest man alive, Ana." he said suddenly, his voice breaking the quiet.
Savannah turned, straddling his lap so she could face him. "Blaze," she began, her hands cupping his soft face, "You don't just make me feel lucky. You make me feel whole."
His eyes softened as he leaned in, kissing her slowly and gently. The warmth of the water and their love surrounded them like a cozy blanket, and for a moment, time seemed to stop.
Later, as they reclined on a plush chaise lounge, Savannah rested her head on Blaze's shoulder, her fingers idly tracing the outline of his wedding ring.
"I still can't believe this is our life now." she whispered.
Blaze kissed the top of her head. "Believe it, Ana. Because I'm never letting you go."
She smiled, feeling her heart swell. "Good. Because I'm never letting you go either, Blaze."
They walked back to their villa hand in hand under the starry sky, their hearts even more connected than before.
The morning sun peeked through the window as Savannah quickly tied her hair back and checked her reflection. She turned to Blaze, who was standing by the doorway, watching her with a smile.
"Ready?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Blaze raised an eyebrow. "For what exactly?"
"You'll see." Savannah grabbed his hand and pulled him out of their villa.
They strolled through the cobblestone streets of Thailand. Savannah had chosen their next destination. Blaze could see how excited she was but didn't ask for more details. When they got to a small, charming cooking school between some white-washed buildings, Savannah stopped at the door, grinning.
"A cooking class?" Blaze asked, his voice playful.
Savannah nodded excitedly. "I saw some people going in the other day, and I thought, why not us? I want to try everything with you, Blaze."
Blaze's expression softened at her words. He cupped her face, his thumb brushing her cheek. "Anything you want, Ana. Let's do it."
Inside, the class was buzzing with energy. A handful of couples stood at their designated cooking stations, aprons tied and utensils ready. The head chef, a jovial woman named Maria, welcomed them warmly and handed them their aprons.
Blaze smiled as Savannah fumbled with her apron behind her back. He moved behind her, his hands touching hers as he tied the strings. "Need some help, Mr. Baldwin?"
Blaze smirked. "I'd rather you stay close like this the whole time."
The class started with a demo of classic Greek dishes: spanakopita, moussaka, and loukoumades for dessert. Maria got everyone excited, showing each step with lots of energy.
Once it was time to cook, Savannah and Blaze worked together, mixing serious focus with some playful chaos.
"Are you sure you're chopping those onions right?" Blaze asked, looking at Savannah's uneven slices.
Savannah raised an eyebrow, his competitive side showing. "And are you sure your filo dough isn't too thick?"
He scoffed dramatically. "Excuse me, Honey? My dough is perfection!"
Their playful banter made the other couples smile. They teased each other but worked smoothly together, swapping tasks and stealing glances.
When it was time to put together the moussaka, Savannah accidentally got some béchamel sauce on Blaze's nose.
"Seriously?" he said, pretending to be serious as he grabbed a spoonful of sauce.
Savannah laughed and stepped back. "Don't you dare!"
Blaze grinned and moved closer, smearing a bit of sauce on her cheek. Everyone in the room laughed as Savannah threw flour at him, turning the kitchen into a fun mess.
"Okay, okay, truce!" Blaze said, holding up his hands.
"Only if you promise to clean this up later." Savannah replied, giggling.
Once the dishes were in the oven, the couples chatted and shared stories. Blaze and Savannah sat together for a bit, holding hands.
"You're really enjoying this, aren't you?" Blaze asked, his eyes soft as he looked at her.
Savannah nodded. "It's not just the cooking. It's doing something new with you. It makes me feel... alive."
Blaze kissed her hand. "You make me feel the same way, Ana."
After finishing the dishes, each couple showed off what they made. Blaze and Savannah's moussaka tasted amazing, and their loukoumades, dripping with honey and dusted with cinnamon, were a big hit.
Maria handed out small certificates to the participants, but when she gave Savannah and Blaze theirs, she added with a wink, "Most entertaining couple of the day."
As they left the class, Savannah looked up at Blaze, holding his hand tightly.
"Thank you for doing this with me." she said.
Blaze leaned down, brushing a kiss against her forehead. "Thank you for dragging me here. I'd do anything to see you smile like this, Ana."
They walked back to their villa, the smell of cooked meals clinging to their clothes and the warmth of their shared laughter guiding them into the evening.
As Savannah and Blaze strolled back to their villa as the sun dipped low, turning Thailand into a canvas of gold and crimson. Savannah clutched the small certificate they'd won, her thumb running over the raised letters. She couldn't stop smiling; her laughter was still bubbling from the day's events.
Blaze looked down at her, his face a mix of love and amusement. "You're going to frame that, right?"
Savannah tilted her head, pretending to be offended. "Of course! It proves we made it through a cooking class without setting the kitchen on fire. That's a big deal, Mr. Baldwin."
He chuckled, sliding his arm around her waist and pulling her closer as they walked. "You know, I've done a lot of things in my life, but I've never had this much fun making a mess."
Savannah laughed, leaning her head against his shoulder. "You're not just saying that because I'm your wife, are you?"
Blaze stopped walking, turning her gently to face him. His hands cupped her cheeks as he looked into her eyes. "Ana, you make everything fun. Every moment with you feels like an adventure. I'd never thought I'd enjoy flour wars or debating the thickness of dough, but with you? I wouldn't trade it for the world."
Her heart swelled when he spoke, and tears welled up in her eyes. "Blaze," she whispered, her voice choked up.
He gave her a soft smile and wiped away the tear that rolled down her cheek. "No tears, Mrs. Baldwin. Unless they're happy ones, okay?"
"They are," she said, hugging him tightly. "I love you so much."
"I love you more," Blaze replied, his voice strong and sure.
They kept walking, and soon the villa came into sight. The inside was cool compared to the warm day outside. Savannah took off her sandals and went to the kitchen for some water, while Blaze went to the bedroom.
When he came back, he had a small bunch of wildflowers he'd picked on their way back. He gave them to Savannah, and she gasped softly, touching the delicate petals.
"For you, Ana." he said simply.
Savannah's lips quivered into a smile. "You're making it tough not to cry again, Blaze."
He grinned, leaning down to kiss her forehead. "Good. You deserve all the happiness in the world, so expect them everyday from today on."
As the evening rolled in, they decided to try out their new cooking skills. Savannah took out the ingredients from the class, while Blaze lit some candles around the kitchen and dining area, turning the place into a romantic spot.
"I feel like we're back in the class." Savannah said, giggling as she struggled to remember the exact measurements for the béchamel sauce.
Blaze leaned over her shoulder, wrapping his arms around her as he helped guide her hand. "You're mixing too fast, honey. Slow and steady."
Her cheeks turned red when he got close. "I thought I was the one who taught you to cook."
Blaze laughed, his lips nearly touching her ear. "Maybe I just let you think that."
They kept teasing each other while cooking, and the kitchen smelled amazing. By the time they sat down to eat, the villa was lit up with soft candlelight, and the outside world seemed far away.
"This might be the best moussaka I've ever had." Savannah said, taking another bite.
Blaze grinned. "That's because we made it together."
After dinner, they went to the terrace. The night sky was full of stars above them. Wrapped in a light blanket, Savannah leaned on Blaze as they shared a glass of wine.
"You know," she said softly, looking up at the stars, "Today felt like a peek into our future. Just the two of us, enjoying the small stuff and making memories."
Blaze hugged her tighter. "All I want, Ana, is a life full of moments like this—with you."
She turned to him, her eyes sparkling in the moonlight. "Forever, Blaze."
"Forever," he echoed, sealing his promise with a kiss.
