Chapter 114 - Chapter 113 - Love and Promises.

Paris

The next morning, soft golden sunlight shone through the sheer curtains of their suite, gently waking Savannah. She woke up, remembering the events of the previous night in a daze. A slow smile spread across her face as she raised her left hand; the diamond on her finger sparkled in the light. It was real. She was engaged.

Savannah rolled over, half-expecting to see Blaze beside her, but his side of the bed was empty. Savannah sat up, stretched lazily, and wondered where he could be. The smell of fresh coffee filled the air, getting her out of bed. She threw on a soft robe and walked barefoot to the balcony.

The morning sunlight painted the world in soft gold as Savannah stepped onto the balcony, her delicate robe flowing lightly in the breeze. The Paris skyline stretched before her, a dreamy canvas of architectural beauty. Her thoughts wandered back to the night before-a whirlwind of romance, surprises, and the life-changing proposal. She absently traced the ring on her finger, marveling at how perfectly it fit, both in size and significance.

Blaze stood by the railing, his posture relaxed yet commanding. The crisp white linen shirt he wore seemed to amplify the warmth of his tan skin, the soft fabric flowing slightly in the breeze. The top buttons were undone, revealing just enough to hint at the toned physique beneath, while his tailored beige trousers fit him impeccably, accentuating his lean, athletic build. His dark hair, effortlessly tousled, caught the morning light, creating a halo effect that only added to his magnetic presence.

He turned to her when he heard her coming, giving her a soft smile. Savannah's heart skipped a beat. His smile was one that could make anyone feel at ease, full of real affection and respect.

"Good morning, fiancée." Blaze said, his deep voice warm and affectionate, making her smile right away.

"Good morning, fiancé." Savannah answered, feeling a slight blush on her cheeks. The word still sounded strange but perfect to her.

Blaze moved closer and handed her a steaming cup of coffee. She took it with a thankful smile, enjoying the rich smell. As he put his arm around her waist, pulling her close, their exposed skin making contact with one another, she caught the scent of his cologne—woody and a bit spicy—which mixed with the fresh morning air, making her feel grounded.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked softly, kissing her forehead.

Savannah snuggled closer to him, her body relaxing in his arms. "It feels like a dream." she whispered. "But I'm still trying to believe any of this is real."

Blaze chuckled, his chest rumbling against her. "It's all real, Ana. Every bit of it. And trust me, last night was just the start."

His words gave her a thrill, and she looked up at him, her eyes shining with curiosity. "Start of what? You've already se the bars wat higher."

Blaze grinned mischievously. "You'll see!" he said, his eyes twinkling with the promise of more surprises.

Just then, someone knocked on the door. Blaze let go of her reluctantly and went to open it. He came back pushing a service cart full of a fancy breakfast spread.

The table on the balcony was turned into a feast. There were buttery croissants, golden waffles topped with fresh berries, delicate pastries filled with custard, a colorful fruit platter, and glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice. In the middle, there was a small vase of red roses—Blaze's way of reminding Savannah of the night before.

As they ate, the conversation came easily. Blaze told Savannah funny stories from his travels, using lots of hand movements and telling all the things he wanted to do with her, by her side. Savannah shared her ideas about their future, feeling a new but good sense of freedom to talk about her dreams out loud.

After breakfast, Blaze leaned back in his chair, his dark eyes fixed on Savannah. He made her blush with the way he was looking at her. "Come with me somewhere after an hour, Ana" he said suddenly, sounding excited and mysterious.

"Another surprise?" Savannah asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.

Blaze just smiled and held out his hand. "You'll just have to trust me."

Steam was still in the air as she stepped out of the bathroom, wrapping herself in a soft towel. The warmth from the shower was still on her skin, and her damp hair was curling at the ends. She looked at the clock on the wall—it was getting close to the time he said they had to leave, even though he wouldn't tell her where they were going.

She smiled to herself, her heart fluttering with excitement. The mystery of his plan had her on edge, making their relationship feel fresh and fun. She walked over to the vanity, letting the towel slip off her shoulders as she put on some moisturizer. Her reflection looked soft and warm under the lights.

Earlier, she had asked him, "What are you up to?" He just gave her a playful grin and dodged the question.

"Be ready, Ana." he said, kissing her forehead. "Wear something that makes you feel great."

Her mind raced with possibilities as she brushed her hair, the damp strands falling smoothly onto her shoulders. She chose a dress—elegant but comfy, something that felt both casual and special. Maybe it was just lunch. Or a drive. Or something totally unexpected.

Her phone buzzed as she finished her makeup—a little mascara, some blush. His message said,"Ready? I'm coming to get you."

Her smile got even bigger as she grabbed her purse and put on her heels. She was so excited to see what he had planned, but for now, she was just enjoying the butterflies in her stomach and the feeling of excitement.

He took her downstairs, where a fancy black car was waiting. The driver opened the door, and Blaze motioned for Savannah to get in first. The soft leather seats felt nice as she sank into them, and Blaze sat down next to her, holding her hand.

The drive was peaceful, with the city looking like a pretty picture outside the window. Savannah tried to guess where they were going, but Blaze didn't give any clues. He just had this calm, slightly amused look while she made her guesses.

When the car finally stopped, Savannah's breath caught in her throat. They had arrived at a huge private estate, hidden behind tall gates and surrounded by perfectly kept gardens that seemed to go on forever. The air smelled of blooming flowers, and the soft rustling of leaves made everything feel peaceful.

"Blaze, what is this place?" she asked, her voice full of wonder.

Blaze put his hand on her back, guiding her towards the grand entrance. "It's a little hideaway I've been working on." he said, sounding casual but excited.

Inside, the estate was amazing, mixing modern style with old-school charm. High ceilings and big windows let in lots of natural light, while warm wooden details and nice furniture gave the place a cozy feel. Everything looked carefully planned and fancy.

Blaze led her to a big living room where a table was covered with sketches and photos. "This." he said, picking up one of the sketches, "Is what I picture for our future home."

Savannah looked at the designs, her fingers tracing the details. The house was amazing, every bit matching their style. "Blaze," she whispered, her voice full of emotion. "It's perfect."

He hugged her gently, his voice soft as he spoke near her ear. "It's for us, Ana. Our safe place. A spot to build a life together."

When he said these words, Savannah couldn't help but feel overwhelmed, is this real?

"For us?" She asks.

"Yeah, Ana. For us." Blaze said.

Savannah felt tears forming in her eyes as she looked around and back at Blaze.

She had never imagined a life fill with happiness, if she looked back at herself four years ago as compared to now, her life has really changed.

With Blaze.

As they walked around the estate, Savannah felt a strong sense of love and belonging. Every room, every corner felt like it promised a future full of joy, laughter, and endless possibilities

When they finally stopped at a terrace overlooking a peaceful lake, Blaze turned to her with a gentle look. "I wanted you to see this first because everything I do now, every choice I make, is for us. For you."

Savannah felt tears well up as she looked at him, her heart overflowing. "I love you, Blaze." she said, her voice steady even though her throat was tight.

"And I love you." Blaze replied, his voice like a serious promise.

Standing there together, the future stretched out in front of them, lit up by their love and the promise of a lifetime together.
