Chapter 77 - Chapter 77 - Teaming up? Trap!

Rodriguez's House

Rodriguez walked back and forth in the dim room, his chest tight with tension. He couldn't get rid of the feeling that Blaze was up to something, something that could ruin all his hard work. Teaming up with Blaze seemed risky but also tempting, and his gut said to be careful.

He looked at the clock again, getting more annoyed by the second. "Where the hell is Gino?" He needed answers, and he needed them now. Just as he thought this, the door creaked open, and Gino came in, holding a file tightly.

Rodriguez marched over and yanked the file from Gino's hand, making Gino flinch. "What did you find?" he growled, his voice tight.

Gino paused, sizing up Rodriguez's mood, then started talking. "Baldwin has a beef with the Romanos —his dad had a big feud with them, and it spills over to the Romanos too. There's a lot of bad history between their families. Blaze might be after the Romanos for personal reasons."

Rodriguez furrowed his brow, flipping through the pages of the file, taking in the details. "What are we dealing with here? Can we trust him?"

Gino shifted nervously, picking his words carefully. "He had a tough childhood. His dad was really harsh. But Blaze seems different. He's driven, and this feud with the Romanos could be good for us. If he really wants to take them down, it might be an opportunity for us."

Rodriguez stopped pacing and turned to face Gino. "Do you really think he wants to help us, or is he just trying to trick us into letting our guard down?"

"I believe he has a real reason," Gino said, his loyalty to Rodriguez clear in his voice. "But we still need to stay alert. He's definitely dangerous, but he could also be the ally we need against the Romanos."

Rodriguez rubbed his hand over his face, feeling the pressure of the decision. The Romanos were a real threat, and if Blaze was out for revenge, maybe they could use that. But trusting Blaze was risky, and Rodriguez wasn't one to jump into things without thinking it through.

"Set up a meeting," Rodriguez said, keeping his voice steady. "But get more info on Baldwin first. I need to know everything about him and his past. If we're going to team up, I want to be ready for anything."

Gino nodded, feeling relieved. "I'll start right away. I'll look deeper into his connections and figure out what makes him tick."

As Gino left, Rodriguez started pacing again, his mind spinning with thoughts of what could happen. Working with Blaze was risky, but sometimes you had to use a strong ally to beat a powerful enemy. Rodriguez knew he had to be careful, staying alert and cautious as he dealt with the tricky mix of trust and betrayal.

Some time later

In the dim light of Rodriguez's office, the air felt heavy with tension. The walls were covered with framed photos showing power, loyalty, and reminders of those who had wronged him. At the shiny wooden desk, Rodriguez leaned back, hands clasped together, his eyes sharp as he thought about the challenge ahead. Gino, his trusted secretary, stood close by with a notepad, ready to jot down the plans that could change everything.

"Gino," Rodriguez started, keeping his voice low and steady, "the Romanos are a big issue we can't ignore anymore. They're involved in everything, and just when you think you've got them, they slip away." Gino nodded, his brow furrowed. "They're smart, boss. Always one step ahead. But if we're careful-"

Rodriguez waved his hand to stop him. "Being careful isn't enough. We need a plan that's smart and sneaky. They put too much faith in their network, and that's our weak spot to exploit." He stood up and started pacing, the shiny floor casting shadows under his feet. "We need inside information. Something they won't expect. If we can turn tables, we might gain the upper hand. What do we know about how they operate?"

Gino flipped through his notes. "They depend a lot on a few key players-mostly low-level guys who do their dirty work, without getting caught by the cops, some even gets bribed. If we can get inside that group, we could cause some trouble." Rodriguez stopped, his eyes narrowing. "Infiltration. Good idea. We need someone who can get close. Someone they won't doubt."

"I've been watching a few of their friends," Gino said, writing down names. "There's a kid named Marco. He's really ambitious and wants to prove himself. We could use him to spread some doubt." Rodriguez smiled, a mean look in his eyes. "Perfect. We'll go after Romano. But we need to be careful. If the Romanos find out what we're up to, they'll stick together, and we'll be out of luck."

Gino's pen zipped across the page, sketching out a quick plan. "We can pull off a couple of small jobs to show Romano how easy it is to cross him. Make it look like a sweet deal. Once he's on board, we can give him fake info." Rodriguez nodded, the plan coming together in his head. "And we need to stir up trouble between their top people. And the one we will send. He can create doubts, they'll be watching their backs. It'll cause chaos."

"Exactly," Gino said, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "And once they're distracted, we can strike." Rodriguez took a moment to think it over. "But we gotta be ready for them to fight back. The Romanos aren't pushovers. We need to beef up our defenses."

"Absolutely," Gino said, his voice serious. "I'll get our team ready. We'll set up an alert-if anything seems wrong, we'll back off." Rodriguez felt a rush of excitement from the upcoming battle. "We'll make them think they've got the upper hand. Then we'll hit them hard and fast. They won't see it coming."

As the plan started to come together, Rodriguez glanced at Gino, feeling a fire burning in his chest. "Let's make them sorry they ever messed with us. The Romanos will see that in our world, betrayal is a serious game, and we always play to win."

Herbert Medical And Technology.

In the heart of the city, Blaze leaned back in his leather chair, the dim office lights casting shadows around him like a cloak. He tapped his fingers on the desk, his mind racing as he thought about his next move against Rodriguez.

His eyes moved to Arthur, his loyal secretary, who stood ready, always watching out for Blaze. "Have you had the information? What's the one thing that would really hurt him? Something that could bring everything he's built crashing down."

Arthur met Blaze's eyes, getting the importance of the question. "Boss, if we're looking for a weak spot, it's his family. Rodriguez is really protective of his people, especially his daughter, Sofia." Blaze leaned in, curious. "Sofia? What makes her so special?"

"Rodriguez would do anything to keep her safe. He's all about loyalty, but family means everything to him. If we mess with her-threaten her or drag her into our world-he could fall apart. He wouldn't just lose focus; he'd lose it completely."

Blaze's face turned serious, a dark smile spreading across his lips. "So, we play it smart. Make it look like an accident. Lure him out, make him weak. If he thinks we're after his daughter, he'll do whatever it takes to protect her."

Arthur nodded and scribbled some notes. "Exactly. Once he's distracted, we can make our move. His whole empire depends on him being strong and determined. Take that away, and he's just a guy with nothing left to fight for."

"What's other thing we can go behind?," Blaze asked, the gravity of the plan sinking in.

Blaze's voice low and commanding, "What's the one thing-beyond family-that could topple his empire? Something that would make him feel like the ground is giving way beneath him."

Arthur knew Blaze doesn't go aftet families, it's not hi style hwere you threaten people their family, according to Blaze it's out of his strandards. Even so Arthur tried again he Blaze changes hois mindset, but no.

Arthur paused, thinking about how to say this. "Boss, He has a third party comapny under his name, and it's his dependence on those outside operations. Rodriguez made his money through a web of scams and illegal stuff, but that's also his weak spot."

Blaze leaned in, curious. "Go on."

"He's got a bunch of partners who do the dirty work. If we can figure out how to mess that up-like exposing one of their operations or even framing one of his main people-it could start a chain reaction. His whole setup relies on trust, but in this world, trust can backfire." Blaze nodded slowly, thinking it over. "So, you're saying if we take down one of his top solitaire, it could fall apart?"

"Exactly. If we expose a big scam or get the cops involved, he'd be in trouble. He'd have to cut ties with his buddies, which would cause chaos in his group. The more his operation falls apart, the more desperate he'll get." Blaze's face broke into a sly smile. "And when he's desperate, he'll make mistakes. That's when we step in and clean up."

Arthur's voice was full of excitement. "If we can set up a scandal that makes Rodriguez look like he's losing it, his reputation will be toast. Once his partners start doubting him, it'll all come crashing down." "Nice." Blaze replied, sounding pleased.

Blaze leaned back, enjoying the idea. "Let's make it happen. The sooner the better."

The plan clicked into place in Blaze's mind, a mix of clever thinking and smart moves. Rodriguez would find out the hard way that in their world, betrayal was just another weapon -and Blaze was ready to use it.
