Rodriguez's House
Rodriguez burst into the house, a whirlwind of anger inside. He just found out about the ultimate betrayal-from Veronica, his wife. The news hit him like a punch in the gut. She had been leaking secrets to Blaze, his worst enemy, and now everything felt like it was falling apart. "Veronica!" he yelled, his voice bouncing off the walls.
She showed up in the living room, her face pale, eyes wide with a mix of fear and fake innocence that only made him angrier. "Rodriguez, I-" she began, but he cut her off, his vision clouded by rage. "Don't even start! How could you think I wouldn't find out?" She shivered a bit, trying to keep up the act. "I don't know what you're talking about. It's all lies, Rodriguez. You have to believe me!"
He had seen the photos. He sent his men to investigate, and they came back with proof: Veronica had been meeting with Romano, the guy who threatened everything Rodriguez had worked for.
The idea of her with his biggest enemy cut deep. "Lies? You expect me to believe you? I know you met him! How could you do this to me?" His voice was low and threatening, making her flinch. "I didn't! I swear! How did you find out?" she begged, her voice cracking with fear. Rodriguez gritted his teeth, frustration boiling over.
"I don't have time for your lies!" He grabbed her by her chin, a fistful of her chin grabbed harshy by Rodriguez and bought her closer so she could have a closer look what was about to come, "You. You fucking slut!!" Slap! Rodriguez gave a impactful slap on her right cheek, marking it red as possible. On the other hand Veronica lay on the flooe helpless, her bodycon red dress had all dampled, messier as possible, her hair what was always shins through the sun had now become a tangle of webs, her full beauty face had all wiped away by Rodriguez who played with her to satisfy the betrayal he was facing and Veronica's own tears that was falling bit by bit.
Rodriguez tugged at her arm and dragged her up the stairs. Veronica couldn't keep up with him she stumbled on the ways, "What are you doing? Leave me!" Her protests didn't stop him; the pain of betrayal drove him on. He yanked open the bedroom door, the sound booming like a gunshot. He shoved her onto the bed, the force making her fall. Grabbed a fistful of her hair, Veronica's face tilted her face showing painful moments she is suffering, "You should know what you've done!" Hearing this Veronica looked at Rodriguez with more fearful eyes, "N-no no, R-Rodriguez-" Rodriguez harden his grip of her hair making her hiss in pain, "You don't get to choose here!" He continued "The more you speak, the more I feel disgusted" spit! Rodriguez spitted on her face, sneering at her face.
Rodriguez let go of hos grip on her hair, Veronica jerked back by the force Rodriguez used, Rodriguez blows away the Veronica's hair on his palm, and looked at her who was now sat on the bed curling up in a ball, maybe scared for her life even more.
"I'll show you the real game, Veronica Sanz!" And started undoing his belt that he wore on slack pant, curled up on his fist and moved towards Veronica who backed away slowly as she watched the scene going, sensing what was about to happen, "HELP!!!" Veronica screamed for a help and she too know that nobody's gonna come to her rescue not now not never, but just for bit she had a hope someone might appear, "Where do you think you're going, darling?" He took her by her leg as she was about to get up from bed to runaway, "We've just started!" He smirked, gave a dirty look before beating her to a pulp.
An hour later
"You're not leaving this place again," he said, his voice cold. "Not until I get answers."
Veronica cried out, but Rodriguez didn't feel sorry for her. The woman he trusted and loved had betrayed him in the worst way possible. He slammed the door, locking her inside, and her sobs filled the silent room. Downstairs, he paced back and forth, holding his phone tightly. He had some crucial calls to make and alliances to solidify. The pain of betrayal was crushing, but he had to stay focused. In his world, emotions were a luxury he couldn't afford anymore.
Inside the Bedroom
Veronica sat on the edge of the bed, her heart pounding as the weight of her situation hit her. The door slammed shut behind Rodriguez, trapping her in a dark, silent room. She buried her face on her thighs, tears streaming down her cheeks, soaking her dress that's now tore down. How did things go so wrong so fast? "Why?" she whispered, the question bouncing around the empty room.
She couldn't understand how Rodriguez found out about her meetings with Romano. Did Blaze really betray her? No, she shook her head, trying to push the thought away. Blaze wouldn't do that. They had a connection, right? She looked around the room, feeling desperate. Her phone was gone, leaving her totally cut off. Panic hit her as she thought about her few options. She needed to get in touch with someone, anyone, but it seemed impossible.
Veronica pressed her fingers to her lips, feeling the sting from the cut there, a mark of Rodriguez's anger. Her arms and legs were covered in new bruises, signs of him hitting her with his leather belt. The physical pain was nothing compared to the pain in her heart. She wished someone would come for her-someone like Romano.
He was her way out, her shot at freedom from her suffocating marriage. Tears streamed down her face, her sobs filling the small room. "Please, someone help me," she whispered, feeling completely lost. She had made mistakes, but did she really deserve this? The love she once felt for Rodriguez had turned into a mix of fear and despair. What if she never got out? The thought made her shiver. She looked at the door, wishing it would open, hoping Rodriguez might change his mind. But deep down, she knew he wouldn't. The betrayal had broken something inside him, and she was stuck with the results of her choices. All she could do was wait and hope.
Baldwin's Mansion
Blaze leaned back in his leather chair, a dark smile spreading across his face as he hung up the phone. Rodriguez's voice was still ringing in his ears, full of anger and desperation. The guy was a wild card when pushed, and Blaze loved the idea of turning that anger to his own benefit.
"Boss!" Arthur called out Blaze, his voice strong. Arthur showed up right away, clipboard in hand, looking serious. "You won't believe how fired up Rodriguez is right now. He's ready to take down Romano, no holds barred." Blaze raised an eyebrow, interested. "What exactly did he say?" Blaze questioned swirling his whiskey. "Not much detail," Arthur said, "Just that he's going to tear Romano apart. The extra part is, he thinks he's doing it to protect his turf, but he's actually playing right into our hands." Blaze leaned in, catching the excitement. "So, you're going to let him go after Romano?" Arthur questioned his Boss.
"Yeah. While he's distracted, we'll gather info on both sides. Rodriguez will exhaust himself, and in the chaos, we make our move." Blaze relished the idea. It was a risky game, but he loved living on the edge. He pulled out a file labeled "Romano" and tossed it onto the desk, the pages fluttering a bit. "We need to get more info on his moves. Rodriguez thinks he's calling the shots, but he's just a pawn in a bigger game. We can use this to our advantage."
Arthur nodded, taking notes. "What's next? Should we push Rodriguez further?" Blaze chuckled, his eyes gleaming with a dark intent. "Yes. I want him to feel the pressure, to think he's losing it. The more panicked he gets, the easier it will be for us to move. Once he's fully invested in his vendetta, we'll strike, leaving both him and Romano off balance."
The air buzzed with excitement as Blaze leaned back, picturing the perfect storm he was about to set off. "Make sure our guys are ready. We need to keep an eye on Rodriguez, every step he takes. The second he slips up, we're all over it." Arthur nodded, looking both impressed and eager.
Blaze was a master at pulling the strings, and Arthur was happy to follow along. As Arthur headed out to get things set up, Blaze's mind was spinning with ideas. Revenge was something he planned to savor, and he wasn't in any hurry. He imagined Rodriguez charging into Romano's territory, driven by rage and betrayal, and it made him feel good. In the end, Blaze knew he'd come out on top, and he couldn't wait to see the chaos unfold.
Hideout
Rodriguez walked into Blaze's hideout, the air thick with tension. He was there for one reason: to team up with the scariest guy in the underworld. He tried to walk further inside this lavious place but got stopped midway by few men dressed in black "I've a meeting with your Boss" Rodriguez says but nothing helped as they still didn't let him pass more further inside, this angered Rodriguez, is this a joke?
He had called Blaze's secretary Arthur to appoint a meeting with him and he said yes and sent him this location, then what's with all these? Yes he had to go through all norms to meet him, Rodriguez knew Blaze was a person hard to meet just anyone, even with appointment but he is in this world too amd not like treated like a street dog going here and there.
After 15 min of talking out with those two men who stopped him, finally Arthur passed by the area and saw Rodriguez standing there and talking with some of his team's member, "What's going on here?" He questioned as he walked to them, Rodriguez looking a little relieved seeing him here, "Thank goodness you're here!" He exclaimed as he heaved a sigh "What are you doing here?" Arthur asked him as he looked him up and down "These people won't let me go inside" Rodriguez said pointing his fingers to the two men beside him, Arthur nodded looking at his men "It's fine, come", a minute to checking Rodriguez fir security and finally he is here.
As he got closer to Blaze's big desk, thoughts of betrayal hit him hard, especially the memory of his wife laughing with Romano. "Baldwin" he started, trying to keep his voice steady, "I need your help to take out Romano. He's been causing me problems for ages, and now he's gone too far." Blaze looked at him without giving anything away, his hands folded in front of him. "You want him gone, but this isn't a joke. Romano has his own crew, and he won't go down easy." Rodriguez leaned forward, his anger barely contained. "I don't care what it takes. He's taken everything from me. I need to make him pay."
Blaze's lips curved into a small smirk, a mix of amusement and caution. "Revenge is best when it's cold. I can help, but I'm not doing the deed. I don't owe you that much." Rodriguez's heart dropped, frustration bubbling up.
"So you'll give me the tools, but I'm on my own for the actual job?" He questioned "Exactly," Blaze said, his voice as sharp as a knife. "I can show you what to do and how to do it, but you're the one who has to pull it off. If you want to play this game, you've got to know the rules."
Rodriguez felt the weight of Blaze's words. He'd thought working together would make things easier, but now he saw it was about more than just taking down Romano. It was about proving he could hold his own in a world that needed both loyalty and smarts. "What's the first move?" he asked, his determination growing stronger.
Although Rodriguez still hadn't fully trusted Blaze, he still has his suspicions on, because no matter how much he thought there's still something doesn't feel right to him and he was eager to find more about him helping Rodriguez fight Romano, and for that he had his men's look up for it by next day he'll know everything. All of the things. For now he can use Blaze for his own benefits.
Blaze leaned back and studied him. "First, we need to learn everything about Romano. His habits, his weak spots-everything. You gotta know him better than he knows himself. Once we have that info, we can figure out how to take him down." Rodriguez nodded, thinking about all the careful planning ahead.
Every little thing counted, and Blaze's confidence gave him a bit of hope. "What if something goes wrong?" Blaze's eyes grew serious. "In this game, there are no do-overs. You either win or you're out. You have to be ready to risk it all." Rodriguez swallowed hard. He knew how big this decision was.
Revenge tasted good, but the fear of failing was real. "I'm ready to do whatever it takes," he said, feeling the fire of vengeance burning inside him. "Hm," Blaze said, leaning in with a low, determined voice. "Let's get started. But remember-once you step into this world, there's no turning back."
Rodriguez met Blaze's intense stare, feeling the gravity of his choice. He was set on getting revenge and proving he could hold his own in this cutthroat world. "I am," he said, his voice firm.
As Blaze started laying out the plan, Rodriguez felt a rush of adrenaline. He was diving into the dark side, but with Blaze's help, he was ready for anything. Romano would pay for betraying him, and Rodriguez was determined to come out stronger than ever.
