"Jade, Peridot," she called them, pointing to her waist and the two serpents quickly came to her, hugging her waist tight. Passing a hand over her hair, she turned to Simon, leaned on the wall in front of her bed, looking at her, angered but still craving. "Let's go, singing squirrel!"

"You've always been such a bitch, or did you get lessons with your master?" He snapped, glaring at her, hands over his chest.

Well, this will be weird. "You should drink a calming tea."

Simon's eyes darkened, "Excuse me?"

She pointed to his hips, "My lavender mint tea will help," Emerald walked towards the kitchen, and using the small movable stairs, she opened the top drawer at the left where Bhat had put many of her tea blends. "It helps calming the nerves."

"I doubt the effect will last," he mumbled.

Ignoring her burning cheeks, she grabbed the jar with her tea blend and came down the steps, grabbed a light green porcelain teapot, and began to brew the tea, manifesting through her thoughts, a calming effect that'd help the witchling for a longer time.

"What's in there?" He asked suspiciously.

"Poison, singing squirrel. There's poison," she said sarcastically, and rolled her eyes annoyed with the shameless suspicious in his voice. "Ain't the name self explanatory? Dried lavender petals, mint leaves, water, and honey for sweetness." I can't even say that without remembering her, ugh. Selene have mercy on me, she would have an aneurysm if she knew what I just did with the person she told me to stay far away from. Emerald's cheeks reddened and she pressed her lips to hide her smile.

"Why are you smiling?" His voice was even more suspicious.

"None of your business," she growled, focusing on the tea.

"Ain't I your enemy? Why are you brewing me a tea?"

"If you leave my room with an erection of that grandiosity and your bottom lip bitten like that, together with how long you're inside for, they will talk, and I have no desire in being taken as another of your conquests. In fact, this shouldn't have happened. I'm already regretting it greatly," she growled, and she meant every word. As soon as the tea was ready, she took one of the thermal black bottles from the cabinet close enough she could get without the stair, and she began to brew it all inside.

"What the hell?" He gasped, when he came closer and saw that even though she didn't use enough water to fill the whole bottle, not only was it full but there was also enough in the teacup to fill another bottle, which she did. "How the hell?" His jaw dropped in dismay.

"It's a magical tea," she brushed, taking a green bottle for herself.

"Is this what happened to your spells and potions?"

"I already told you that, why are you asking again?" She growled.

"Why are you such a rude bitch?" He gasped.

"Don't expect anything different from me, Simon!"

He grabbed the bottle annoyed, "Hah, you're a pain in the ass."

"You've seen nothing yet," she snorted, unlocking her door that he had probably locked with magic and walking out of it with him, locking it again, only to find Hope sitting down in front of her door, staring at them with narrowed eyes, Harmony with her. Well, thankfully there's no one else but her in here. "Want tea?" She asked to break the ice.

Hope cocked and eyebrow, staring at Simon, at his lip, then at her, "Oh, I would love some tea," she eyed the bottle Emerald was holding in her hand, "have you drank yet?"

She instantly took a sip of it, even though it's still hot, unbothered, "Yes," she grinned mischievously, offering it to Hope.

"Did you give him some of your tea too?" She arched her eyebrows and stared at the bottle from which he was sipping right now, having a small Snake insignia in it, with 11 stars around it.

"I end up making too much," she left it ambiguous.

Hope sipped from the exact place Emerald had, eyes glaring Simon like daggers, and though Emerald felt out of place, and confused, she noted that there was history between the two, and they're bitter about one another. "First time I see you in a dress, Em, you look absolutely gorgeous," she winked at her. "Hi Jade, hi Peridot!"

["Hi, Hope,"] they beamed. ["Good morning!"]

"They said Hi and Good morning!" She repassed. "Which is funny, since they didn't even give me good morning."

["Sssssssimon did that for usssss, no?"] Jade purred naughtily.

["Oh, yeah, your Sssssssimon,"] Peridot mocked.

"Another word and I'll break your fangs and see if it grows back," she hissed. He is not mine, stop playing with this.

"What did they said?" Both asked, staring at her.

Her entire face burned, "Nothing. It doesn't matter."

"You do remember we are both goldens, right?" Hope grinned.

"Oh, shut up. Call me a liar if you want, it doesn't matter," Emerald pouted annoyed and grabbed her bottle back, sipping about ⅓ of the tea in one go, needing to calm down.

"So, you're going to the market, Em?" Hope asked, purposely being between them, lacing her arm on Emerald's left and hitting her shoulder on Simon, who glare at her and walked to Emerald's right, their familiars all but following both. "I thought you said you wouldn't be going."

"Seems like I need a wand and some shit," she sipped more.

"Oh? That's true, I forgot about the wand," she side-eyed Simon, clicking her tongue. "I see why he's here now. In the absence of a guardian, the responsible for the ghoul is the monitor. He's our monitor, and you ain't really speaking with the redhead."

"Yeah, this bastard woke me up today, knocking on my door like a jerk, and I allowed him inside, because it was annoyingly unnerving to see his ass standing on my door, so he snooped around my stuff while I readied myself. We inevitably fought, he attacked me, I attacked his back, thus the cut on his mouth, and if you look closer, you will see a soft mark of my hands on both side of his cheeks. My emotions got out of control, so did my magic, them I made the tea, since it has a calming effect!" There you go, I didn't lie, I just concealed what actually happened.

Hope giggled anxiously, "Oh? You beat him up," she grinned pure relief washing her face. "I thought you were making out, and bite his lip."

Emerald sipped her tea, saying nothing, face burning, but Simon all but choked on his tea, "Why the hell would you think that?" He gasped.

This asshole!

Emerald side-glared him under the eyeglasses.
