Alessia paced in the hallway, her phone clutched tightly in her hand. The tension had become unbearable over the last few days, and sending Matteo and Lisa away for safety was the best decision, even if it made her heart ache. She sighed deeply before turning to them.
"You'll be safer where you're going," Alessia said, her voice soft but firm. She looked between her brother and sister, the weight of the decision heavy in her chest. Matteo stood tall, his usual calm demeanor masking any worry, while Lisa, always so full of energy was quieter than usual, her lips pressed into a thin line.
"Make sure to send my gadgets in a week."
"I will" Alessia sighed.
