Chapter 1:
"Count Clumsy stood in front of his mirror, adjusting his cape for the hundredth time. He was determined to make a dramatic entrance at the Vampire Council meeting that night. But, as he turned to leave, he tripped over his own feet and face-planted into the coffin in the corner of the room."
"As he struggled to extract himself from the coffin, his fangs got tangled in the lace curtains, and his cape got caught in the door. Igor, his trusty servant, rushed to his aid, trying to stifle a giggle. 'Shall I get the bandages, Count?' he asked, his voice trembling with suppressed mirth. Count Clumsy glared at him, his eyes flashing with embarrassment. 'No, Igor! I'm fine! Just...just help me up, and let's get this over with!'"
"Igor sighed and helped the Count up, brushing off the broken glass and adjusting his cape. 'Shall we proceed to the Vampire Council meeting, Count?' he asked, trying to hide a smile. Count Clumsy nodded, his face still red from embarrassment. 'Yes, let's get this over with. I'm ready to make a... um... memorable impression.'"
