New World, Punk Hazard!
At this time, the island had completely transformed into a purgatory of ice and magma! Endless ice and lava clashed fiercely, reshaping the natural landscape in an instant. The peak duel between two Admirals disturbed even the clouds above, showcasing a battle of terrifying might.
"Yeah, haha, such overwhelming power! Is this the strength of the Blue Sea powerhouses? Who are the fighters?"
On the outskirts of Punk Hazard, Shiro stood with his fleet. After finishing up with the fleet, Enel and the seven cadres returned to Shiro temporarily.
Watching the terrifying confrontation on Punk Hazard, Enel couldn't help but feel the intense battle's aftermath. It was clear now—Shiro had been right
Blue Sea was indeed full of powerful individuals, making this sea a thrilling and dangerous place.
There was no doubt—the combatants were top-tier powerhouses!
"Admiral Aokiji and Admiral Akainu. This battle will determine the next Fleet Admiral of the Navy. It's not an exaggeration to call it a peak duel,"
Shiro explained, his eyes fixed on the battle unfolding on Punk Hazard.
Aokiji and Akainu were both unleashing their ultimate techniques, and it was clear the battle would soon reach its conclusion.
"Fleet Admiral? What's the Navy?" Enel, still new to the Blue Sea, was curious about the organizations and battles around him.
"They are our future enemies," Shiro answered calmly. "You'll soon understand. Once this battle ends, we'll make our move. Robin and I will join you."
Enel nodded, sensing the seriousness in Shiro's tone. He glanced at the unconscious Celestial Dragon in his grasp, disgust in his eyes. For someone who claimed to be a god, this so-called ruler of the world was nothing but a weakling.
Shiro's goal was clear—he intended to eradicate the Celestial Dragons.
"Shiro, who do you think will win?" Robin asked, watching as the battle on Punk Hazard intensified.
"The winner should be Akainu. Although I think Admiral Kuzan becoming Fleet Admiral might bring some changes, it would be limited. Under the World Government's control, the Navy's justice is just an empty concept. Kuzan understands this well." Shiro's voice was filled with certainty.
If Aokiji were to become Fleet Admiral, the Navy might see some temporary reforms, but it would eventually revert to its former ways. Bound by the World Government, neither an Fleet Admiral nor the Navy could truly act freely.
The truth was, for someone like Aokiji, becoming Fleet Admiral would be a personal struggle, constantly at odds with his ideals. Even Garp's lament that "being Fleet Admiral isn't a job for humans" wasn't baseless.
The fierce battle raged on for nearly ten days and nights. Finally, the clash between the two equally matched Admirals concluded as the ice succumbed to magma!
"Enel, Seven Cadres, move out!" Shiro commanded decisively as the duel ended.
Enel took the lead, lightning flashing as he moved with incredible speed, carrying the unconscious Celestial Dragon into the heart of the island, followed closely by the seven cadres.
"Shiro, should we follow?" Robin asked, her nerves slightly frayed. She remembered vividly the overwhelming power of an Admiral and how helpless she once felt with the Straw Hat Pirates.
But now, with Shiro by her side, her confidence was bolstered. Shiro's strength was unparalleled—tough, unyielding, and terrifying.
"Wait," Shiro said, unusually calm despite the urgent situation. He pulled out a piece of life paper from his system space, his expression darkening instantly.
Inside Punk Hazard.
As Enel and his team navigated the icy and fiery terrain, they finally reached the central battlefield. The scene was chaotic, with the once mighty Admirals now reduced to shadows of their former selves—one standing, the other slumped in exhaustion.
"Who are you?" Akainu asked, his voice wary. He was barely standing, his energy depleted from the brutal battle. Encountering new adversaries now could be fatal.
More concerning was the lightning-wielding figure leading the group—his speed and abilities mirroring Shiro's, leaving Akainu with a sinking feeling.
Without hesitation, Akainu summoned a massive wall of magma, blocking Enel's advance. He glanced at Aokiji, who was battered and unwilling to fight further.
"Damn you, Sakazuki!" Aokiji cursed, but he understood Akainu's decision. The Navy couldn't afford to lose both Admirals at once, especially when facing these unknown yet powerful enemies.
For the Navy's sake, one of them had to survive, even if it meant retreating. After all, the World Government couldn't have Borsalino as Fleet Admiral. This was Aokiji's final duty as an Admiral, one last sacrifice for his ideals of justice.
