I asked Vista the next day about the trip.
She said "Let's go on a adventure. I saw a forest while we were going to the beach. The board said The Inescapable forest."
"Ok then let's go there."
I took a map of the forest and packed the stuffs we needed and put it in the car for tomorrow.
Vista stretched her body after getting out of the car "Hmmm, Let's begin our journey."
There was board said "Your powers will be sealed once you enter the forest."
We ignored it and went in the forest.
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over the dense forest. The air was thick with the scent of pine and damp earth. Kazuma and Vista, hand in hand, treaded carefully along the narrow path, their footsteps muffled by the thick layer of leaves underfoot.
We explored it was getting dark.
"Let's return Vista we don't even have our power if we go back now we can easily reach the car we left."
We walked for a few moment.
"We should've reached the cabin by now," Vista murmured, her voice tinged with worry. "Are you sure we're on the right path?"
Kazuma glanced at the map, its edges frayed from use. "We should be. But this place looks different than I remember."
They pressed on, the light fading quickly. The forest seemed to close in around them, each tree blending into the next, creating a maze of towering trunks and tangled branches.
As darkness enveloped them, the forest came alive with the sounds of nocturnal creatures. An owl hooted in the distance, and the rustling of leaves hinted at unseen animals moving through the underbrush.
Vista tightened her grip on Kazuma's hand. "What if we can't find our way out?"
Kazuma squeezed her hand reassuringly. "We'll find a way. Let's stay calm and keep moving."
Hours passed, and the night grew colder. They stumbled upon a small clearing and decided to rest. Kazuma built a small fire, its warm glow offering some comfort against the encroaching darkness.
"We'll wait here until morning," Kazuma said, wrapping his arm around Vista. "It's too risky to keep moving in the dark."
Vista nodded, leaning into Kazuma's embrace. The fire crackled softly, and they shared a few moments of silence, finding solace in each other's presence.
As the first light of dawn broke through the trees, they resumed their journey, more determined than ever to find their way out. They followed the sound of running water, hoping it would lead them to civilization.
After hours of trekking, they emerged from the forest, weary but triumphant. They saw the beach a bit far from them.
"We made it," she whispered, smiling through her exhaustion.
Kazuma smiled back, pulling her into a tight embrace. "We did. Together."
We went out of the forest and there was a letter fell from above. I looked up there was nothing there. I opened the letter.
"Congratulation on finishing the hidden quest. You reward will be given. Your powers will be doubled and the key's power will be increased but one-half." said the paper and vanished.
"Wow that was handy."
We have to return today is the day of battle. I must go back.
We returned home.
"KAZUMA YOU WILL BE PUNISHED FOR THIS" said someone watching him on a magical screen.
