"You don't have to come with us either, Anthony," she said softly, but her voice held a firmness that made it clear she wasn't just concerned for his safety—she needed him to understand how dangerous this was. "You're still hurt, and you don't need to be on the front lines."
Anthony shook his head slowly, as if trying to dispel the pain and fear. "I'm not letting you do this alone, Claire. Clarke's after me, but he's coming for both of us. I need to be there when this ends."
