Anthony pondered on what to say, was he going to tell Claire about Megan? He had hid their initial meeting from her, and it led to a rift between them. This was something more serious, he had an intimate moment with the woman Claire was insecure about and although he didn't go ahead with the kiss, he had created an avenue for such a moment.
Anthony decided to keep it to himself. He was facing enough troubles at work and couldn't afford a fight with Claire on top of that.
"Just some questionable decisions I've been making." Anthony finally said, giving a vague response.
Claire's eyes narrowed, obviously unsatisfied with the response. She knew Anthony was failing to tell her something, but she decided not to press further. He would mention it in due time, she thought.
"Whatever the problem might be, I'm sure you'd sort it out." Claire said, before standing up to leave the table.
