*BANG* *BOOOOM*
Confused, I ran out of the building, making it to the front. I saw Torrent looking scared as a massive shard of ice frozen the river.
Papa, I did not mean to," he said, shaking as he stared down at the ground.
I rushed to him, checking him for any injuries "As long as you are fine, I could care less about that ice, but looking at it, it means you have Ice Affinity, which is pretty rare, so be glad," I said as I hugged him, picked him up, and took him inside.
Making some calming tea, I give him a cup while I go outside, and using the pickaxe, I start to break the ice and collect it in a bag for later use. After a bit of just collecting, I have three bags full now You must be wondering why I am collecting this ice when I have fridge and many more things to keep cool. It is extremely hot now, and this ice does not seem affected by the heat, so I am going to do some experiments.
Walking back in with the ice, I get a strange look from Torrent, but walking into the kitchen, I put a spoon on it and turned it. Once the fire light went out, I put a few pieces in the pot and walked to Torrent because I got a new book and he loved it when I read it to him.

About two hours have passed Walking back to the pot, I see the ice still cold. Even if the pot is steaming hot, I know ice from magic, so just wait for the mana to dissipate or for the cats to dispel it, but now I have read a lot about mana and magical spells, and there are once about five cases of something like this happening. The first three are not documented really well, so one of the last two I will be talking about.
4. Garouna magical incident: When a new mage practice his space magic and created an anomaly, a sphere perfect at any angle and a magical anomaly that ate the mana in the air or anything that got to close a black hole, the people called it.
5. Hell: I know what the name is, but it was in Drevouren, in a dwarves mountain, where there was a crazy dwarf who was trying to make a living weapon with a fire spirit With the help of a human, they did get what they wanted, but the human tried taking it and using it for his own personal use. I know humans always ruin everything. Anyway, he used a dragon's heart to make it strong. How he got it, no one knows, but the dragon's heart made it so strong that it created a beast that exploded into a fire hell that consumed many lives and made the mountain a fire pit with eternal flames in it.
For all those accounts, a huge amount of mana was used so that makes me wonder how much mana does Torrent has. He does have a weak body for a walk clan member, and a weak body means a big mana pool, but again, that is just what people think—it was never studied or tested. So when the peddler comes by, I should ask for an affinity tester and something to measure their mana. I put away the ice and started making dinner since I am pretty hungry.

Its been four months since I got that affinity tester and mana measurer, and here is what I found: affinity for ice, wind, and light. i know, crazy, so i got him some tomes to study and learn how to use his manas now for his mana pool it the same size as a large lake so quite big for his size which is making him smaller then what he should be for his age so I started fattening him up and working out with him. Just to work his body and mind and it has been going great I have gotten many books about alchemy and medicine too so that might be a hobby I could do As for the workshop in the basement, I started using it for ores I found in the dungeon. I have mapped out most of it, but it was hard. I lost a lot of paper from a goblin fireballing me.
As for exploring outside, that bear creature roams around us. I have seen it a few times just staring at us from far in the woods, and I am just trying to get stronger so I could kill it and get out of this bubble of a home. I feel like a prisoner, and he is my warden, and I am planning my escape soon.
I have made great progress in making my core any day now, and I could start using magic and train it with Torrent.
**(In another place)**
"Alice, are you sure you know father is going to be furious when he find out that teleportation magic is extremely dangerous and unpredictable?" A young girl said as she saw a young woman drawing a magical circle under a moving carpet.
"I know Jasmine, but I have done the calculation, and as long as I do not get interrupted using the spell, I will teleport out of here. I feel like a caged bird, and I really want to fly," Alice said, sounding serious.
"I know after Thomas death he just wants us to be safe, and you should talk to him; he might change his mind," Jasmine said, worried.
"he is not going to listen, and do not worry, I still have a lot of time until I use it I still want to attend the ball in a few days," Alice said with a dreamy look. "I might find my one," she said with an obsessive look.
"Okay, but warn me when you do use it. Okay, I want to say good-bye," Jasmine said as she walked out of the room.
"Do not worry, I will be back if I have to use it, I promise." She said she was going to her study and pulling out a space and time magic book for dummy's.
(A/N:I don't think this is going to end well!!)
