The school bell rang on 10 am
„Finally break time~!"
Serphina went over to zuri with an tired face
„right. I'm exhausted, I even fell asleep."
Zuri said while rubbing her eyes
„pfft- well the teacher won't like that."
„she doesn't have a good impression of me anyways, because of my brother.."
She was imagining what kind of crazy stuff her brother did to annoy the teachers so much
Maybe he drove the car through a window,
Or rented a stripper to school. Maybe he even set something on fire or did something that had to do with heaven.
It's all things zuri could imagine her brother doing.
Even tho this was hell the schools were pretty strict even with stuff like fire and all but of course in heavens it wouldn't even cross the students minds to do something like that
„well good thing my brother is in the same year as me."
Zuri look at serphina for a moment it looked like her brain was slowly processing the information
„...oh you have a brother? I don't think I saw anyone in class who could've been related to you though?"
„that's becaus he's in class 1C."
Zuri was relieved for a moment at least she wasn't completely dumb
„hmm so is there something he isn't really good at since he's in C and you're in B?"
„let's say he's.. a bit lazy. During the physical test he was on his phone, he even tried during the theoretical test but got caught."
„Wait it isn't forbidden during the physical test."
„no but of cause you won't be able to achieve the best of your performance."
„makes sense... AND HE STILL MADE IT INTO C INSTEAD OF D OR E??"
„yea.. but honestly I'm quite sure he wouldn't have been able to archive that much more even if he hadn't been on the phone at most B probably."

„anyway should we go visit him?"

They enter the classroom of the 1C
While everyone was already inside small groups there was a single person sitting by himself in the last row playing on his phone
While looking down on his phone he suddenly saw a shadow formin on his desk
He slowly looks up
„hi"
„bro that's zuri a new friend I made in class.
Zuri thats Valerius but I'm sure you can just call him Val isn't that right little bro."
„sure."
„little bro? Aren't you guys twins since you are in the same grade?"
„yes but I'm still older by 2min."
Serphina said very proudly
Suddenly her eyes lit up while remembering
„so now we are visiting you brother right??"
Zuri looked nervously around the classroom spotting a clock
„actually since he's in a different building we don't have enough time left to go all the way over there.."
Serphina gave her suspicious look before giving in
„fine but you will introduce us eventually!"

„then let's head back to our classroom."
They left the classroom going up the hallway
„so what are you gonna choose as performance subjects?"
„hmm probably..-"
She stopped talking while her eyes meet those of someone familiar
In the hallway stood Erebus with another guy who also turned to them
By looking at their appearance they look like 3rd years instead of first years
Zuri started smiling and waving lightly at them while going up to them
‚this is so akward'
The further zuri went the shorter she felt
Then she heard a whisper

She whispered back
When she started looking at Erebus again she notices a smile on his lips

„oh is that the girl you were talking about?? She really looks like a little bunny!"
There began to form a weird expression on zuris face
‚Could you talk a little quieter it's awkward and why is the one looking like a dog without proper clothes the one to talk'
He was wearing clothes that were covered in gold accessories and didn't wear a proper shirt he only wore some kind of short Cape
„oh um.. hi I'm zuri may I know who you are?"
He grabs her hand and kisses her lightly on the back of it.
„of course! You can just call me anpu!"
„a- alright, nice to meet you anpu."
„you look like a snow bunny is that your race?"
„oh yea I'm half Hase beastman and half demon."
„I must say you are blessed with good looks."

Zuri says flustered
„you're too kind." he turns his head and asks „And you are?"

He was talking in an old fashioned polite way which confused the two girls quite a bit
„I think we need to go to our class now."
Erebus says while already turning around
„right we should get going to right serpi?"

„Than see guys you another time."
Anpu says winking at them and following behind Erebus
His expression looked quite amused while Erebus looked kind of thoughtfull
For a moment the two girls just stood there staring at the two boys getting further away
Before also turning around and entering their class room
The bell rang and class began
The rest of the schoolday wasn't anything special
And while the teacher talked about the materials they needed this schoolyear
Zuri started doodling in her notebook while zoning out when suddenly her eyes lit up in startle
She looked in confusion down on her notebook and her face begun to turn red
She quickly shut her book ‚bang'
Serphina turned around to her and asked
„girl are you alright what was that for?"
„n- no it's nothing..."
Serphina turned around again and zuri opened the book very slow and carefully then she realised she wasn't mistaken
She drew Erebus without even noticing and the drawing looked pretty accurate and good
She was embarrassed
How the f- did this even happen I only met this guy for a short while how did I remember that face this well?!
‚AGH-!"
She shouted whiteout realising
„young lady this is the second time you are disturbing my class, get out now!"
„dang.."
Zuri whispered
‚Why always me..'
She went outside the classroom to wait Infront of the door
When she turned around and saw Erebus
‚Oh come on this is three for three'
Erebus noticed her and started walking over
„it must be fate."
He says while looking at her with a mocking expression
Then zuri remembers her drawing and gets bright red again while looking at him
‚get a grip zuri you don't have to be flustered like all the girls from animes'
„fate of getting thrown out of school?"
She askes trying not to look completely obvious
On Erebus lips starts to form a smile
„pfft- what did you got thrown out for? Looking cute?"
Confused she askes
„wha- what?!"... „hey! Are you saying that's the only reason I could get thrown out for? I'm not some weak scared bunny!"
„chill shortcakes I'm just joking, so what did you get thrown out for?"
The whole hallway got quiet in an instant
Zuri remembered the sketch again and quickly turnes her head downwards while getting red again
With an questioning but also amused look he stares down on her
„...wait. don't tell me you actually got kicked out for being cute??"
„what?! No! I was kicked out for being to loud."
„really...? Than why are you being all flustered like this? Or do you just noticed that I have a handsome face~?"
„wha- no I.. I just remembered something.."
It wasn't a lie but also not the whole truth

The school bell rang again
„well looks like school is over, see you tomorrow shortcakes~"
He says in a mocking tone again
He starts walking away while waving
„see you..."
‚I have the feeling I'm going to see him more often from today onwards.'
