Shershah had traveled a long way and had followed the smell of his son Rambo to find the human camp where his son was held captive.
He had very complex emotions because the son who was adored so much by Shershah and his wife Lakshmi. They had spent so much time with him and till now he had almost never came out of the cave. A few times Rambo was out only to mix up with the rest of the Pack members of the lion family otherwise he was hidden from the rest of the world.
Only yesterday he was taken out of the lion cave to attend the grand meeting of the jungle because of the consistent nagging of his son otherwise both Shershah and Lakshmi were against the idea of taking him out in the open world to appear in front of everyone since he was still so young.
But once they gave there consent then Shershah and Lakshmi thought since this Grand Meeting of the Jungle was held in such a large scale and soo many different species will come to attend so naturally if their son attends this then it will be a good boost to his popularity given that in future he was going to be the leader of this jungle like his father.
Also if Rambo would have been kept in the pack or in the lion cave then his mom Lakshmi would also had to stay behind with her son. Now by agreeing her son to attend the Grand Meeting of the Jungle Lakshmi was also able to socialize with the rest of the Jungle species after all this kind of meeting happens only in emergency situations or after a few hundred years.
But who would have thought that by letting their son come to the Grand Meeting of the Jungle this unfortunate thing would have happened and their son would be kidnapped by the humans.
Shershah thought: "Only if we would have not brought Rambo here in the Grand Meeting of the Jungle then nothing of this would have happened or if we would have been more careful and did not allow Rambo to play and go out of the clearing. Oh Rambo my son."
Rambo was his only son he wanted to save his son at any cost that was the reason despite knowing that his son had been kidnapped by the humans and till now nobody had been able to escape once they are captured by humans knowing all this he still came to rescue his son even if he himself gets killed or get captured he did not care about this.
He even fought all the elders of the jungle and went against their opinion and came out to save his son. He was so aggrieved that he even destroyed many of the huge trees which came in his way with just on strike of his mighty paw.
Even though he was so aggrieved and angry he did not lost his cool because he knew that his enemy was the most powerful species of earth so when he came near the human camp he became calm and used the instinct of a lion to hunt for its prey to first eliminate as many people as possible.
When he came near the human camp with his animal instinct he first deciphered exactly how many people were guarding the area and he came to know there were actually four guards outside the camp two on the northern side of the camp which was leading towards the human civilization and two towards the southern side which was leading towards the jungle.
Then he came towards the northern side of the camp first and came near one of the guards in a ninja like manner after all he was an adult lion so he had very good beastly instinct to hunt his prey.
Once he reached near the first guard immediately he attacked and snapped his neck and the life of the first guard faded away however the other guard did not come to notice anything.
Next he attacked the second guard and broke his neck as well without making any noise and with this there were no guards left on the northern side of the camp so he moved around the camp and came to the southern side of the camp and saw two guards patrolling so he planned to use the same tactic which he applied on the previous guards.
So he came near the first one and just as he was about to attack there was lightening and a flash as he was exposed in front of the Human.
Rumble Rumble
Man: "Hey! Who's there?"
Shershah immediately hid himself and as he can listen to the humans conversing among themselves.
After some time he again prepared himself to attack but then there was another lightening and he was completely exposed in front of these two guards as they started to fire bullets on him.
Shershah stealthily dodged the bullets and then attacked and finished the first one and then the second one. Both the humans lost their lives within a span of thirty seconds.
Bang Bang Bang
ROAR ROAR
However due to the gunfire earlier almost everyone was alerted and there was commotion in the camp so there was no point hiding anymore so he decided to attack openly as he roared announcing his arrival and challenging the humans.
ROAR ROAR ROAR
Shershah roared and shouted: "Rambo I know you are here do not worry daddy is here to save you."
ROAR ROAR
There was a big commotion in the came as they heard the sounds of Gunfire as everyone thought they were attacked by the rebellions however then they heard the roar of the lion and understood that it was actually a lion.
These were the trained military officers of the British East India Company armed with guns and ammunitions so they did not fear any wild beast which would come there way.
Officer one said: "Hey everyone there is an wild lion around here be careful."
Officer two said: "Great It will be fun to hunt a lion today he he he."
Another officer said: "No we should not kill this one. It will be good if we catch it and take it to the zoo or our senior officer would like to hunt it himself. Lion hunting is his favorite sports in India."
Officer one said: "Yes he is saying correct do not try to kill the lion just use sleeping darts so that we can capture the lion once it is unconscious and take it to the zoo or to the headquarters. Even Albert the junior officer had caught a lion cub today in the morning to gift it to Boss. We should do the same."
All the officer's agreed and prepared to use the sleeping darts on Shershah.
Rambo was still locked up in the portable cage which was brought by Albert as he listened to his Dad's roar and call towards him. He was overjoyed as he knew that his father has come to save him however he was also worried because he saw with his own eyes the tactics of these humans how they had captured so many of the jungle species.
Though these humans do not have much physical strength however they use their brains and use different plans to capture different animals also they have invented these special weapons through which they can overpower and hunt any powerful jungle species from a far.
Rambo Shouted: "Dad I am here but do not stay here please escape. These humans are too powerful run."
However due to the so much commotion and sound Shershah was unable to hear anything as his son's voice was subdued and lost in such a commotion.
Shershah saw a few humans firing at him with their peculiar weapons which were very similar to the previous ones but these ones were a bit different as he was not able to avoid them or dodge them since so many of them were their firing at him at the same time.
So he did not mind them anymore and directly attacked and killed a few of the humans. But after getting hit by several of those darts he felt he was losing consciousness and he was not able to keep his eyes open as he felt difficulty to keep them open.
Shershah thought: "No what is happening to me? Why I am feeling like this? I cannot afford to lose here. This must be the effect of this mysterious weapon used by the humans. I have to find Rambo first."
ROAR ROAR ROAR
Shershah shouted: "Rambo where are you? Look Daddy has come to save you."
Rambo heard his Dad's call has he replied: "Dad I am here. Please return there are too many of them here. Please escape."
There was another volley of darts which were being fired at Shershah as he felt another surge of drowsiness in his head.
Shershah said: "No I will rescue and take you with me at any cost your mom will be looking forward to meeting you."
Though Shershah wanted to save his son but he felt as if a blackness was spreading over his eyes as if he was losing consciousness. In a final attempt he lunged at a human who was coming towards him and finished it with one hit of his paw however after that his head started feeling dizzy and he felt it tool all his energy to move even an inch.
There was another volley of darts which were fired at him but no human dared to come near him.
Rambo saw in horror has his Dad was constantly being hit by those darts fired by the humans as he shouted: "Dad! Dad! You cannot fall here. You have to run save yourself."
But in the end the Great ferocious lion Shershah fell as the human soldiers cheered among themselves.
