Emerald Forest.
Morgana was preparing a snack once Milim and Gaia finished playing when she felt a sense of danger.
Before she could react, a dome rose in the sky. She felt her magicules begin to descend while the magicules in the surrounding area became corrupted.
She had to prevent the surrounding magicules from replenishing her lost magicules, as they could corrupt her core. The one who set all this up knew what he was doing.
"Milim, Gaia! Come back now!" she called through the Soul Corridor they shared.
After a few seconds, Morgana saw Milim coming on Gaia's back. Morgana noticed scratches and superficial wounds on Gaia's body, although Milim was unscathed.
Milim jumped off Gaia and ran toward Morgana, crying in her embrace. "Sister, some guys attacked us while we were playing and hurt Gaia," she said between sobs.
Morgana was filled with rage as she listened. "Gaia, I need you to protect Milim and avoid absorbing the magicules from the area; they're corrupted," she told Gaia while placing Milim at her side.
Gaia nodded, and her size began to increase until she reached a wingspan of nearly 300 meters. She lifted Milim onto her shoulder and erected several defensive barriers around them.
Morgana, for her part, looked at the army. They were elves, their numbers exceeding one hundred thousand. Originally, it wouldn't have been a problem to destroy them with a wave of her hand, but that barrier they erected was a significant issue.
The army stopped 300 meters from their position, and a gray-haired elf who appeared to be the leader emerged from the formation riding a unicorn.
He had an arrogant smile on his face as he fixed his gaze on Milim, even though Gaia's size hid her.
"I am General Thalión! I come as a representative of the Super Magical Kingdom!" he declared in a haughty voice while regarding Morgana as if she were an insect at the side.
Morgana remained impassive as she prepared her battle plan. She looked at the general, already knowing why they were there, but still asked.
"And what does the Super Magical Kingdom of the Elves seek in a place so far from its dominion?" she asked in a cold voice.
The general smiled arrogantly as he replied. "It's simple, woman; we want the brat riding the dragon. As long as you hand her over, I will grant you mercy, allowing you to live."
Morgana narrowed her eyes at the general's words. He had no intention of losing, despite seeing Gaia; she wondered if he was foolish or brave, perhaps both.
She shook her head while taking a few steps in front of Gaia's shadow. With her hands clasped at her waist, she responded with a smile.
"I'm afraid that's not possible. My master has tasked me with protecting her, which leaves us with two options: Go while my mood hasn't worsened yet."
her gentle tone contrasted with the somewhat sadistic smile that blossomed on her face as she whispered a final phrase that sent chills down everyone's spine. "Or nourish this land with your souls."
The general stood stunned; no one had dared oppose the Super Magical Kingdom of the Elves, and those who did were dead.
That this woman would dare to say such a thing... for some reason, he felt she wasn't lying about the last part. But his pride prevailed, and he erupted in anger.
"You will die for such an offense, woman, you and that dragon together," he said in an angry voice.
"ATTACK!!"

The once green forest was now a river of blood, with the more than one hundred thousand elven soldiers piled in mountains and mountains of corpses.
Morgana breathed heavily, nearly out of reserves and feeling the world spinning. She walked heavily toward Milim, who was crying over the dying body of the dragon.
Gaia had lost a wing and had a massive hole in her chest. The amount of energy draining from her wound was significant, but she managed to protect Milim, even at the cost of her life.
"Gaia... open your eyes, Gaia, I don't want to play anymore; please wake up..." Milim said through her sobs.
Gaia opened the only eye she had left with her last strength, looking at her best friend crying over her dying body.
Milim lifted her head, and they locked eyes without saying a word.
"Aaaahh..." Gaia tried to speak only to collapse again. In the end, she let out a small puff before closing her eye forever.
Morgana stayed close and sat down, allowing Milim to say goodbye to her best friend while she wiped the tears running down her face. After several minutes, she noticed Milim stopped crying and moved away from Gaia's lifeless body.
A dark red aura began to manifest from her body, and the corrupted magicules from the surrounding area started to be drawn toward her. Just as Morgana wanted to run to her, she heard the voice of the world.

Immediately afterward, Milim's aura exploded like a tsunami as her reserves of magicules multiplied every second.
"It's my fault... Gaia died because of me. Why am I weak... I... I..." Milim began to speak to herself as her eyes turned red.
"Milim, calm down; it's not good for you to get agitated," Morgana tried to reason with her as she approached slowly.
"I will destroy them all!" Milim declared, and the ground beneath her feet exploded.
When the smoke cleared, Milim was gone.
