Irama carried Hirvan to one of his houses near the school and gently laid him in his own bed. Once Hirvan was settled, he stepped back, and let the family doctor examine the boy.
Irama stood near the window, his arms crossed. Taking a deep breath, he tried to suppress his overwhelming anger. He cast glances at anxious Benji and swallowed his words. He had given one task to Benji: to watch over Hirvan during these past weeks. But apparently, he could not do this simple job and missed the sign of Hirvan's fever.
The doctor finished connecting an IV to Hirvan's arm, watching the clear fluids drip down slowly into his system. He straightened up and turned toward Irama.
"He will be alright in about an hour. I've given him Apotel through his fluids, and it should bring his fever down soon. The patient most likely was exhausted both physically and mentally. I will also leave some fever-reducing tablets just in case his fever goes up again."
