Natasha and Benji did not argue with Hirvan on the topic of going to Astra City; they knew that if the most important person in the room went, they would eventually find themselves there too.
After wishing Hirvan well, they hurried out of the room. They thought the elephant in the room was too gigantic for them to withstand and preferred to not be near them when it was brought up for discussion.
When the door closed, Irama walked toward Hirvan with firm steps. His eyes were fixated on the young man as he brought up a question that both were evading.
"What about me?"
Hirvan flinched under Irama's raw voice.
He had anticipated this moment, even dreading it. His heart ached every time he recalled that night when everything changed. Hurt, guilt and confusion filled his mind.
He knew he should let go of his grudge against Irama but every time he remembered he had slept with the man, his inside twisted painfully.
