On the balcony of the Ashford mansion, two young men stood embracing in the middle of the day, completely unconcerned by the curious glances of the household staff moving about the estate.
Aunt Wang tugged gently on Butler Tian's sleeve and whispered.
"Looks like the young master has patched things up with his boyfriend. You'd better go let the master know. He was worried they'd have a big fight."
Uncle Tian, who had been deeply concerned after watching the young master smoke cigarette after cigarette, had already informed the master of his fears. He had been quietly observing from a corner, anxious that things might escalate further. But now, seeing the two men in each other's arms, he felt a wave of relief wash over him.
"You're right," he sighed.
"I should tell the master before he gets impatient and storms in on them unannounced."
With that, he made his way toward the study, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
