Chapter 2 - chapter 1

In a bar, a festive atmosphere prevailed.

"Have you heard about the defeat of a Shichibukai, Crocodile?"

"Of course, it's all over the newspapers! He was beaten by a marine after plotting to kill the king and take the island for himself."

"Serves him right! After all, he's a traitor who sold his soul to the world government. He captured pirates and had to do all sorts of dirty work for them."

The information in the bar multiplied by the thousands. Everyone had their own story and a different opinion on the matter. What was certain was that 60% of those present were pirates seeking entertainment, information, and other things.

In a corner of the bar was a rather peculiar group. They were all very tall, over 3 meters. The tallest of the group of five, in addition to being frightening, had an aura that kept most reckless pirates at a distance.

"Van Augur, Captain, what do we do next?"

"Zehahaha!" Teach laughed and said, "Our next destination, we follow the Log Pose."

"Doc Q, we need to capture a famous pirate to get the vacant position."

"Lafitte, the next island is Banaco. Maybe fate will smile upon us."

"Burgess, a good fight awaits us on this island, I can feel it! Wiiiihahahahaha!"

Teach added, "You know what, I also have a good feeling. Zehahahaha!"

They continued to eat while discussing and listening to various subjects that might be useful to them.

"It's been two weeks since I took possession of this body. I was just a detainee who took advantage of a power outage in various facilities to escape. A one-in-a-million chance to survive. I fought for my freedom. I massacred guards and prisoners who had grudges or knew my various crimes, thinking that marrying them would get them a pardon. Just in case, I carved a path of blood and pain to get out. My escape lasted five years before being gunned down in an alley. Bounty hunters must have recognized me to cash in on my bounty. There was only 'dead' on my poster for crimes against humanity. I had led countries to revolt against their leaders to take their place for more than personal reasons. I succeeded, but only for a short time. An army of civilians against soldiers, the result is easy to guess. But it was divine entertainment."

"Teach's actions were magnificent. He looked and acted like a real pirate. He was cautious, a tactician, and strong. I couldn't dream of better in this dangerous world. The only annoying thing is not being able to swim, but what's done is done. Besides, I have temporary help."

"It's a system and a bonus reward. It seems the will of the world doesn't want me to deviate from the script and hide like a coward on a celestial island. Zehahahaha!" Teach thought.

He stood up, and his crew followed. He headed towards the door, and no one stopped them to pay.

They arrived at the port. "Burgess, prepare the oars to depart." His eyes fell on a ship large enough and to his liking.

"Burgess, raise my black flag on that ship. I've found a new vessel."

Teach headed towards the large ship. He saw men discussing trivial matters, all of them pirates. Seeing him board, they became wary.

"Zehahaha, disembark, and I'll let you live."

They looked at their numbers and laughed. "Five against a hundred, you're stupid!" One of them charged towards him. Teach grabbed him by the head and crushed it like a watermelon, leaving him lifeless on the ground. He glared at the other members who, despite their fear, attacked. The noise attracted spectators and probably woke their captain who was likely sleeping. He saw the massacre on his ship. In five seconds, 60% of his night crew was dead.

"Only you and the rest remain. I'll let you live, but clean the deck. I want it spotless by tomorrow."

The captain of the Killer Angels didn't know what to say. He knew he was no match for the monster before him. He could only comply. He didn't want to die. He had committed massacres himself, but seeing the state of his crew, he could only respond with a "yes" before stepping aside for Teach and his crew, who took over the ship and ordered them to retrieve what was on their boat. The pirates, no, the slaves they had become, had lost all freedom to live.

Doc Q commented, "It was their destiny."

Lafitte and the rest of the crew nodded and went about their tasks while setting course for the island of Banaco.

"I will conquer this world, no matter the obstacles. Zehahahaha!"

Their new ship sliced through the waves, carrying with it the boundless ambition of Teach and his crew. Everyone knew the journey would not be without risks, but all were ready to do whatever it took to achieve their goals.
