Between the country of Arcadia and the demonic realm is a forest, with thick trees and infested with excaped mongers from the veil, most who have tried transverse here where either killed by demons in the forest or by the beast from the veil.
On getting to the entrance of the dead forest from the Human side Gary was dropped off and his escort turned around to return to Arcadia, left by himself Gary wondered what to do next, secretly going back to Arcadia was a 'no' because sending him to the demon realm was the polite way of masking his execution is he returns they might accuse him of being a spy from the demon realm.
Know what lay before him didnt look like a good idea either,
During his free time in Arcadia when he was not training solo or being used as a punching bag by classmates he devoted it to studying about the current world, and that's why he could probably say he was the most well informed about the state of luminaria.
"I just have to see what the demon realm holds for me, st least I hope I die painlessly" he said to himself.
While sneaking as best as he could through the dead forest and praying to whatever god that's able to hear him, he luckily encountered the escort from the demon realm that was sent to take him through the forest, and surprisingly they didn't look as he expected.
The demons before him had colored skin, the two females in the group had blue skin and horns coming out the side of their head, while the three males had red skins and thicker horns, when looking at him they all looked at him with disgust except one of the females who he observed to be the leader, she wasn't nice either, if she felt disgust looking at him she didn't show it.
They got to the demon realm without any major issue apart for sone few monstrous creatures they had to fight on the way, getting to the demon realm Gary was provided with a cloak and mask to hide his appearance in the demon city while heading to the castle.
Upon entering the castle Gary was taken to the kings chamber and there he met the demon queen, with bright blue skin covered with a pitch black gown that stick to her like a second skin, despite the inhuman appearance she still looked beautiful to Gary.
"Welcome to my abode human, my name is zekora the ruler of the demon race" said the demon queen
'Even her voice sounds majestic' thought Elijah
"It's a pleasure to be in your presence your majesty " he actually said with a slight bow
"Hmm, I believe you already know about the veil and it's mostrocites, I believe you have already encountered sone while on your way here….."
she went on to explain some details to Gary, how monsters from the veil come into there realm but no one can enter the veil and how their shaman had received a prophecy alongside the human priest from a mural during their truce about summoning a hero to help their race and only the hero could close the veil from the inside, while performing the ritual for the said summoning it coincidentally happened on the day of the humans summoning making the mistake of joining joining him with the human heroes.
"You are suppose to be the hero of the demons not the humans, the window joining you previous world to our was what made u appear there with the appearance of the humans"
Saying the last part Gary couldn't help but notice her lips curling slightly in disgust,
'I see, so this was why the escort looked at me that way and why they had to literally hid me, was not because I was powerless, but because of my appearance , seems fair that they would hate me if I take the appearance of their enemies even if there was a truce'
"I believe you must have seen your status" asked zekora
"Errrm that's the problem your majesty, while in the human kingdom my status was checked but it said error"
"Hmmmm" said zekora with a thoughtful frown on her face
"You majesty if I may" said an old man who Gary could tell straight away was the shaman from his attire
*nod*
"The system must have had an error because the humans used their magic instead of demonic magic and the status of a person can only be checked with their magic over here while hero here was meant to be a demonic being, so I suggest we use the ritual of demonization of the royal family to turn him into a demon" said the shaman
"Hmm that makes sense" said zekora with an understanding nod "now dear hero, do you have any questions before we proceed?"
"Yes I have two your majesty "
"Speak"
"Yes!, will it be guaranteed that I get my powers after this ritual?"
"Yes I believe so"
"And why was only one hero summoned for your race, while the humans summoned 25?"
"Hahaha, it's because those pesky humans are cowards, we demons believe in strength and during the war we realized our inate ability was way higher than their, the needed 2 of them to fight one of ours, but the problem was our population and our magic, going through our kingdom you must have notice how small we're compared to those insects, we develop slower than them, but we actually do live longer than them, and our demonic magic seems weaker than their magic, I guess that's why you where pulled into their realm, if you had been summoned by our ritual directly you would have arrived a demon without going through this ritual "
"That makes sense"
"So prepare yourself while we prepare the ritual"saying that zekora stood up and left the chamber while Gary was led to a room awaiting his demonization
"Being human has never gone well for me, I guess I could forsake being one and try being a demon, no need to feel bad cause the forsake me first" Gary said with a determined gaze
