Leonard's POV
While Maya and her mom where having dinner, Leonard's family were having dinner also. While they were having dinner silently, Leonard suddenly broke the silent and said mom I have good news.
"What good news" asked Leonard's mom in a cold voice. Leonard didn't mind his mom's coldness and said with a smile I have found the chosen one. The one we need to take what rightfully belongs to us. Mom I have finally found her.
Leonard's mom suddenly spat what she was drinking and asked in a surprised voice are you kidding me Leonard? Hope this is not one of your silly jokes you make? Mom I'm damn serious. I felt her hands,I felt her powers surging from her,it was so powerful. Mom I'm not mistaken replied Leonard with serious voice.
Oh! really? are you sure his mom asked his mom in a doubting voice. Mom I know you look at me like a complete failure but I'm very sure about this mom replied Leonard. Alright then, if your accurate,this would be very good news replied his mom with a smile. So when are we going to take her asked his mom. Mom I need to make her trust me first before we use. So please give me time and I promise not to fail you this time replied Leonard with a voice full of determination.
Alright then,I will trust you this time and assign this task to you and remember,not to fail me this time said his mom to him in a warning voice. Mom don't worry, I will make you proud this time replied Leonard. Alright then, don't disappoint me said his mom. The both of them ate in silence after their discussion.
Maya POV
When Maya finished having dinner with her mom,she went upstairs to her room. When she got to her room,she immediately checked her phone to see if Leonard has responded but he hadn't. So she just laid on her bed and kept checking to see any response from Leonard but she didn't. So she eventually slept off while checking with the phone on her stomach.
