Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 The Hand of the Heavenly Immortal

"Food is falling from the sky, go pick it up!" Mo Hanshi said again.

There was still some black soil at the corners of his mouth, making him look dirty. His hands were also dirty, and they had stained the food in his arms.

Mo Jin had mysophobia when he was a child, but ever since the famine in the village, he has lost all his mysophobia. As long as there is food, he will still eat it even if it has been stepped on by others.

Mo Jin rushed out of the room and saw food falling from the sky.

But to his shock, he saw the source of the food!

In the clouds, there was a pair of huge, white, soft hands, rubbing a huge pancake-like object with two fingers, crushing it and throwing it down.

Whose hand is that?

Is it an immortal?

Mo Jin was so shocked that he forgot to pick up food for a moment. He looked up at the sky, unable to speak for a long time.

Mo Hanshi carefully put the food he picked up into the bowl.

Then he came out with two empty buckets, intending to go out and pick up food.

The food in the yard could not escape, but the food on the road could be picked up by others. The reason why Mo Hanshi ran back home was, firstly, to get the bucket, and secondly, to call his younger brother to go out and pick up food together.

Who would have thought that my brother would just stand there stupidly.

Mo Hanshi stuffed a bucket in his hand into his brother's hand and urged him, "Don't stand there like an idiot. Come out with me. What's so good about the sky?"

Mo Jin turned around and asked, "Brother, can't you see? There is a hand in the sky..."

Mo Hanshi looked up in confusion, and could only see the falling food.

He reached out his hand, slapped his brother on the back of the head, and said, "I think you are hallucinating. You are probably very hungry. Hurry up and pick up something to eat, then follow me out to pick up food. Who knows how long this food rain will last. If we stock up, maybe we can live a little longer."

Mo Jin covered his head and said, "Brother, I'm fine. Can't you really see the hand in the sky?"

Mo Hanshi looked up again, still seeing nothing. He bent down and picked up a piece of pastry crumbs, broke off a small piece and stuffed it into his brother's mouth, "Eat quickly, I think you are really hallucinating."

Mo Jin tasted the sweetness and was so moved that he almost cried. He picked up a relatively large piece of cake crumbs, rushed back to the bedroom, put the pieces next to his mother, and broke off a small piece to feed her, "Mom, we have food, you should fill your stomach quickly."

The brothers' mother was extremely skinny and her breath was very weak. She was not far from death. She shook her head and wanted to leave all the food for her two children. However, when she found that the food was bigger than her hand, she was stunned.

"Where...where did this come from?"

Mo Jin said, "Mom, food has fallen from the sky. You should try it first. We have been hungry for too long. We can't eat too much. Wait for me to cook soup."

He picked up another piece, broke it into pieces and threw it into the boiling water in the cauldron.

Pastries themselves are supposed to be eaten dry, but once soaked in hot water, they instantly turned into a paste. Mo Jin didn't mind, so he boiled them into soup and served a bowl to his mother.

Mo Hanshi no longer counted on his younger brother. He closed the courtyard gate first and ran to the road to pick up food.

Many people were squatting on the road eating big mouthfuls of food. When they saw Mo Hanshi's behavior, they came to their senses and hurried home to get basins and buckets.

Mo Hanshi shouted with all his strength: "Everyone should drink some water before eating, and eat slowly."

"Wow, it smells so good, so good..."

Some people simply couldn't listen to Mo Hanshi's words. Fortunately, they had brothers and sisters. Everyone knew that one should not eat too much after being hungry for a long time. In addition, they were used to being frugal, so they would rather break a piece of cake into pieces and eat them in three days. It would be a waste to swallow it whole. So they hurriedly stopped the greedy relatives around them.

"Why are you in such a hurry? There's plenty on the ground, enough to eat for several days. Don't eat too much today."

"Don't worry, I won't starve to death. I'm willing to eat even if I'm full!"

"What nonsense are you talking about? You are not allowed to eat!"

Everyone joined in the action of collecting food.

Conflicts will naturally arise in the process of picking up food. Everyone wants to pick up more and want to take all the food on the road back to their home.

"Mother, there is a hand in the sky..."

"Dad, I saw it too. There was a hand in the sky, holding a huge piece of cake. The hand crushed the cake, and the crumbs fell down. What a huge hand..."

A few children looked up at the sky, but were scolded by the adults: "Don't make excuses to be lazy. Do you still want to be hungry? Come and pick it up!"

"Are you guys still ganging up on me?"

"Why can't I see anything?"

The children were unwilling to give up, so they lowered their heads and joined the ranks of picking up food.

"Actually, we don't need to pick up too much. There's still a big piece of cake left in the hand in the sky, enough for us to eat for a long time..." a child muttered softly.
