With a powerful swing of his hammer, Xada shattered one of the pillars, sending shards of stone flying towards Vanis.
The snake recoiled and launched itself toward Vanis, protecting him from the debris with its wooden scales.
Momentarily stunned by the explosion. Vanis summoned more wooden snakes to join the fray. The smaller snakes slithered up the pillars, their fangs aimed at Xada's legs meters away in front of Vanis.
Xada gritted his teeth, smashing his hammer into the pillar he was standing on.
This time, the stone beam erupted in a wave, knocking the smaller snakes off balance and sending them crashing to the ground.
He then jumped to the floor before the pillar he was standing on crumbled, raising his hammer high above his head. "Your tricks won't save you, Vanis!" Xada shouted, his voice echoing through the hall.
