POV: Bash

My sprint towards Dekkan failed to end him, he readjusted the length of the purple vines instantly, retracting them to bring his axes back to his hands.
Looking at my incoming body, he slashed in an 'X', my hand moved my sword to block the strike, and the momentum from the impact launched my body backward, it was strong enough to slam my body into a tree.
I crashed over twenty meters away from Dekkan, as my body hit the ground gliding from the tree, Dekkan fiery eyes looked at me, instantly, he threw one of the axes he was holding at me.
Shifting my neck to the left I managed to dodge the attack, Dekkan promptly pulled his hand, the vines connected to his axe pulled back, returning his axe to his hand.
Dekkan was breathing heavenly as he stopped momentarily, his eyes still as he looked at me.
