POV: Ash
Location: Northern Empire
The sound of leaves rustling as we walked in the southern forest filled the air. After spending two days in the eastern forest, we made our way to the southern forest, the last of the four forests surrounding the Garden of Fairies.
We arrived in the evening with only a little sunlight left, our camping bag was floating behind us, and our eyes darted around the forest but we had not found a single animal corpse since arriving, how strange.
"Should we rest for the day or investigate more," I asked Lula flying beside my shoulder.
"Um... Let's investigate," she answered, her squeezed fist hitting her left palm.
After walking for two hours in the forest, the sunset with us discovering something even more strange than the horrible stuff we witness in the other three forests.
