"On the count of three, we strike," I said, extending three fingers from my left fist.
On the third count, Delta ran forward with me running along her left side. I had to lighten my body to catch up with her insane speed.
She got to Kowoske before me as he stood in the center of the room, she went for an upper strike and he blocked it with his white sword, reaching their location only seconds after Delta, I flipped upwards catapulting myself to Koweske's back.
He stood sandwiched between the two of us. As Delta strikes him the second time this time aiming for his left rib, I simultaneously went for the vertical strike, my silver sword falling directly above his head.
To my surprise, he held his squeezed fist behind his back and blocked Delta's strike to his left rib, he was fast enough to also counter my downward strike without even turning his body to look at me.
The sound of metals colliding with each other echoed throughout the throne chamber, with flashes of orange light forming from the impact of our swords colliding against each other.
Delta repeatedly slashed her sword at Kowoske, one slash to the legs, the next one to the heart, and the one after that one to the neck, but Kowoske kept blocking all of them, his feet firmly planted on the ground surface.
Kowoske was not only deflecting Delta's strikes. My arms were busy too, I was not giving him any opening to rest, I tried to march my strikes with that of Delta. Her aiming for his head is my slash towards his legs, and her slash towards his left ribs is my slash towards his right ribs. Despite all of our efforts, Kowoske simultaneously blocked all of our strikes.
"So this is the power of a Sanzaimon," I groaned.
"Delta, let's pull back for now," I said, my voice loud against the background of ringing metallic sounds.
Immediately after I said that we both jumped backward landing at a distance of over five meters to Kowoske. Our bodies sweat with mouths open, gasping heavily.
"You dared to stand between me and the Shinzin Ritta," Kowoske said, his voice sounding soft and humble.
He then lowered his sword with the tip hitting the ground, his long white hair blown to the side by the wind.
"Yet...yet, after all the rudeness you are telling me you want to pull away from a fight with me unscratched, how disrespectful."
He then lifted his sword and pointed it at Delta, "You would pay for daring to raise a sword against novelty."
His neck turned one eighty degrees to look at me, his white garment reflecting all the moonlight that fell on it, "The man dressed in black," he called out to me, "For daring to point your sword at me, I would also be taking your head."
The next thing I knew was that Kowoske disappeared, my eyes darted from left to right but I could not locate him or sense him.
Suddenly, he reappeared before Delta, slashing his sword towards her. She narrowly blocked it but the impact of his strike sent her flying, crashing into the wall over a hundred meters behind her.
He disappeared again then reappeared before me. As our eyes locked, he grabbed me by the collar and then lifted me upwards in an arc, throwing me in the direction of Delta.
My body slammed into her just when she got up from her fall, we crashed against each other, my back hitting her chest with her entire body stuck on the crushed wall surface.
As we stood up, Kowoske looked towards our direction, his feet still standing in the center of the throne room.
The look he was giving us is like that of an elephant staring down at an ant, making it clear to us how little he thinks of the threat we pose to him.
