POV: Ash
Location: Northern Empire
My body was cold that time, my legs were resting in a pot filled with thirty percent of my blood, not eating for three days took the life out of my body. I was just being stubborn to the old witch about to murder me. Even if I am going to die, I would die with my pride undefiled.
"I am the crimson witch," I spit into her face, "My blood belongs to only me, you would only harm yourself if you attempt to take it,"
The next thing I know is that Shii pulled my head upwards and smashed it against the stone wall behind me, she then looked into my eyes.
"I am special, didn't I tell you," she smashed my head again, "I am special," she repeated herself then smashed my cracked skull against the rock.
Blood spilling out of my mouth flowed down to my dark dress. Shii raised my head in the air right above her head, she then stared upwards, frowning her face at me.
A gulp of blood escaped my mouth and fell back to the black pot, "Are you going to kill me before the ritual even begins," I smirked at her.
The nerves in her forehead grew taller and she lowered me to meet her gaze directly, "you would die when the last drop of blood leaves your body."
"Mana drain," I groaned. Kissing Shii in an act of surprise.
For a split second, my tong wrapped around hers and I sucked in as much mana as I could.
"Shit," she shouted, jerking backward from me.
I stared at her as she used her wrist to brush the saliva lingering on her lips.
"CRIMSON BLOOD, RIN NO REVERT," I commanded.
My body levitated in the air as my hair spread upwards, and my blood came forward like octopus limbs circling me in a spiral direction.
I was feeling it, the blood I hate so much making its way into my body, healing my wounds and refilling my mana.
"You tricked me, you conni witch," Shii yelled at me.
"Now that you know my secret you have to die," she continued, summoning a staff made of vines from thin air.
She pointed the purple rose at the top of the staff towards me, opening her mouth to cast a spell.
"Doesn't she know what happens when you cause an explosion underground, " I hissed.
I then used my index fingernail to cut a hole in my thumb, my blood came gushing forward and I used it to smash the ceiling of the basement upwards, creating a hole for me to escape.
Her eyes were narrowed to my position, "BOOK OF ROOTS, DEVINE PUNISHMENT,"
A white light resembling that of the moon came out of the tip of her staff, before it could hit me, I raised my right foot and slammed it against the ground. kicking myself in the air with the impact of my step.
I flew through the hole I created early and levitated ten meters above ground level.
Starring down I saw Shii's house crumbling on the impact of her spell.
Is she already dead, I doubt so.
