The city streets were quieter than usual as Inspector Josh and Stella made their way through the narrow alleyways, their footsteps echoing in the early morning silence. The massacre had left a stain on the city, the recent deaths of werewolves sending ripples of fear through every corner. Now, with little information to go on, they were forced to visit the families of the victims, hoping to uncover even the slightest clue.
"So, where are we headed first?" Stella asked, breaking the silence.
"First house on the list is a family on the west side. One of the victims was found near their residence. The family's name is Reynolds," Josh replied, glancing at his notes. "But the strange thing is, according to the reports, none of the families seem to recognize the victims."
"That doesn't make sense," Stella said, her brow furrowing in confusion. "If they don't know who these people are, how are we supposed to connect the dots?"
