After they left Alexander used his snow hawk wings to fly towards the place while Griffin followed right behind on his broom the two located the magical beast pit where they could see a few magical lions Griffin used his spell (Enhancement Creation Magic Life Saver) this ability give Griffin and his comrades a invisible barrier that activates in fatal situations. Alexander nodded before gathering mana before using (Snow Creation Magic Snowfall) over the years of training he mastered the 5 spells he had and could know use them in a large scale.
After the large amount of mana was gathered Alexander amber eyes shined and a 30 meter large snow spike rushed towards the pit of magical lions above the pit the spike separated into smaller spikes which killed a few lions and heavily injured the others after that Alexander and Griffin finished off the rest of them a few minutes later *ROURR* they both looked up to see a large lion with huge wings giving them a death glare.
The lion opened its mouth and launched large fireball Alexander quickly reacted using (Snow Creation Magic Snow Golem) and a large snow golem appeared before spreading out and making a hexagonal shaped snow barrier blocking the fireball (Snow Creation Magic Snow Hawks) not wasting anytime he used the snow from the barrier to launch dozens of snow hawks towards the lion the beast dodge some while covering its vitals with its large wings.
Griffin not wasting any chance that Alexander gave launched into air (Enhancement Creation Magic Double-Fold) he swung his large battle axe and slashed the lions wings .*ROARR* the lion yelled in pain before sending a flaming slash at Griffin he was in mid-air so he couldn't fully dodge and to a hit to his side not fatal but hurts real bad. Seeing this Alexander unsheathed his (old katana) and used a snowy horizontal chilling slash towards the lions wings cutting them off.
*CRASH* hearing this Griffin threw his battle axe towards where the know wingles lion was hitting the beast directly in the abdomen Alexander followed up the attack with another slash but this time a crescent made out of sharp compacted snow came from his katana decapitating the large lion's head off. *Pant* Pant* Griffin slumped next to a tree after coming back to the ground and snowflakes started to cover his large wound (Snow Creation Magic Snowangle).
Griffin seeing his wound slowly healing gave Alexander a greatful nod before standing up and retrieving his know bloody axe "I'm getting to old for this crap" Alexander chuckled hearing this before both him and Griffin began to sort out the good parts of meat and materials out of the lion corpses Alexander felt something wrong and looked at his sword there were a few chips in it *sigh* Alexander threw the sword to the ground before he and Griffin made there way to the Hunter Guild after they showed the materials and meat from the corpses the lady took them and handed the to there reward.
"Here kid take it I already have enough money" Alexander thanked him before grabbing the white katana on his way out he was pretty sastified he earned a large amount and a new sword even though it needs a hilt and a holder Alexander said he would customize after his birthday he had a few designs in mind when making his new sword he also needed to name it " Alvion is Yuki a good name for this sword" Alvion appeared on Alexander shoulder and agreed after that the duo flew their way back to the old house.
(PS Yuki is snow in Japanese for those wondering why I choose that name)
After arriving the old lady glanced at the new sword in Alexander hands and gave a surprised look "that sword suits you well child" Alexander gave her a look before telling her what happened during the high risk mission the old lady gave tips on how Alexander could've dealt with situation faster and more efficient he nodded before going to rest in his room.
