The voice that chimed in from behind the fiery red streak that had darted past my vision couldn't have come at a better time.
"Fervis…"
Just as I began to fall toward the ground, her soft hands held me upright and she slowly laid me down before casting a glare into the rupture of smoke that had erupted from her attack previously.
But there was something different about this version of Fervis that stood before me. There was no sense of fear or hesitation. Instead, it looked like a massive weight had been lifted off of her chest.
Her long silver hair gleamed with a level of color that I had never seen before. There wasn't a single blemish on her face, as it looked like she was left completely untouched by the attack from the red-haired woman earlier.
